Most favorite pop that I own is Sam from Trick R Treat. Very cool detail. I'm so lucky I got it for such a reasonable price.

Runners-up are Travis Bickle, Masked Alex Delarge and Chase Jack Torrance

Currently I would say its a tie between the Brown Flocked Bigfoot because it looks so awesome and the Glow in the Dark Miguel from Coco because that Glow is perfect.

The one pop that made you happy

Postby djwu » Mon Apr 29, 2019 9:21 pm

Was reading through the "The Pops that got away" (great thread still) and thought we need some positive vibes!

What are some Pops that you found, received, purchased or traded for that made you happy?

Could be any time, whether its all time or just as recent as today.

That is awesome, I bet your son was elated getting the Green Chrome Batman, I was fortunate that a great friend of mine helped with that one for myself so that was one moment that fellow funatic helped make my day! Chase Batman still eludes me though but one day.. Great stuff though!

I never watched mha and then out of nowhere it blew up/got popular!!

Battle deku prices went up and that’s when I started to watch the show.. [-X

I saw it go from 50 > 100 > ~300ish...and I NEEDED it!
Long story short I don’t have too many iso but when I do it’s bad haha. I was soo so happy when I got him. Even after value has gone down it’s still easily one of my favorites :)

Trading for Tupac a few years back definitely made me happy. Coming from Australia so I was worried about it arriving safely but it all worked out.

Haven't really collected enough to have a definitive one yet and since you say "found, purchased or traded", I'll just fill what I can then.

Of the ones I've found looking them up to see what I want to collect next, it'd probably be Alphonse with Kittens. The Pop! style works well with the figure and it's one of my favorite characters, from a very memorable scene from one of my favorite anime. So it'll be mine some day!

As for purchased, it's my Mystery Science Theater 3000 Crow Pop! It's one of the first ones I purchased and I just love that goofy robot and now I can love him some more on my shelf.

I've had really good proto luck at Fundays. I've managed to get them for pops of characters and fandoms I love, and that has made me super happy. I screamed when I opened mine in 2018.

As for pops, owning the 3 in my sig makes me super happy.

Depends on what you mean by what makes you happy, at the moment I got it the one that shocked me was the 1/24 black ranger freddy at fundays, but one that I went out of the way to find was the Wicked Witch from Oz since I love wicked

Both work, getting a 1/24 freddy is awesome but getting that hard to get pop like Wicked Witch sounds like quite an adventure! Today I opened my HT Dark Phoenix and was pretty happy with the detail (I am an inbox collector)! Either way positive vibes are always great and seeing many things here make me smile.

I'm thankful for my Freddy as Ghost Rider and my SDCC 2013 Unmasked Tony Stark. After the events of Endgame, he's sure to become a harder find as a lot of folks won't want to sell him anymore.

Its still the first one, Ron Swanson, at retail off Amazon. Out of box since day 1 and the only one I have prominently displayed, despite having at least two hundred at this point. When I find myself wondering what the hell I'm doing, I look at Ron and smile.

I’ve got 3 that make me happy ever time I see them but only 1 do I see all the time :) my own personal one is when I found the HT exclusive Silver Harley Quinn for my collection. Got super lucky when I finally was able to find her because I never thought I’d be able to find and/or afford her. The other 2 are ones I got for people- I still remember finding Tails at my local comic book store before I really got into collecting for my sister since she’s such a huge fan. So glad I got him before he went up in value because I would have searched high and low for him for my sister. The other one would have to be the Mr. Hyde & Bugs Bunny 2-pack- won that one for my fiancé and he was sooo happy for it. I always think of his reaction when I see it :)

So many different pops to choose from with all the Freddy pops and Disney pops especially the Disney parks pops. If I had to narrow it down it would be between the woody rc ride, splash mountain, tiki room, and movie moment sorcerer mickey. I think I would go with woody rc ride.

The one pop that makes me happy out of all my collection is the latest variant of Boo from Monsters Inc. As a kid, my family and I would always say my sister looked like Boo, she even had the same hairstyle. Plus, Monsters Inc. is probably my favorite animated film (really really close tie with Toy Story) so it's just nice to have a pop that has sentimental value
