My hot topic haul from last night, my boyfriend asked me to just go in and look around while he Christmas shopped for me somewhere else, and I texted him I found the beetlejuice chase. I had already spent all but $14 on Christmas shopping, so all of this is Christmas presents for me. #-o

Kind of disappointed with beetlejuice, he was my number one glow chase want, since his eyes make him visually nicer than the regular. But his glow just isn't very impressive, still really happy to have him though.

Really impressed by the paint jobs on storm though (and surprised by how much I like the glow, was hoping her costume would glow when announced), the hot topic I went to had around 6, and they were all pretty good paint jobs.
Wasn't totally sold on metallic Magneto but now I need him.

Oakland Mall in Michigan just unpacked GITD Storm. Cashier told me there are a few guys that come in who will likely buy up the whole shipment so if you're looking for her give them a call asap!

Where in Miami are you located by the way? I've seen so many Earth 2 Batman's, especially at Dolphin Mall

I live in the SW area. I'm close to Little Havana/Coral Gables area. Dolphin has a ton of Earth 2 Batmans. I've gone to the falls and they're almost the same as Dolphin in terms of exclusive pops that they carry. Aventura has some good exclusives. I bought my black haired Goku and X-Force Deadpool over there.

Just saw your message and thank you so much for wanting to help me out. I managed to find one on eBay for $19 with free shipping. The paint quality from what I saw looks good. I don't expect it to be flawless but if you do manage to find one that is, I'll definitely buy it from you. I can always give the one I bought on eBay to my best friend who likes Wolverine. I just pulled the trigger and bought it because the price wasn't too bad and as I said in my prior post, HT's here in Miami kinda suck when it comes to having exclusives

No Magneto, but Southland Mall (Michigan) just got a shipment of GITD Storm and Black Hair Goku today. There were about 7 GITD Storm and 4 Gokus if I counted correctly before I left. If you're in the area, I would definitely call ahead before you go.
Hopefully Celestia w/Glitter mane appears soon, and I'll be all set this year

I figured as much because one of the HT's I called last week the guy wished his store still sold that Batman pop. I found a pre-order going on over at popcultcha. Apparently sometime in Jan they'll ship out. I saw the site being mentioned in a different forum and I'm tempted to pre order one from them. Granted that their international shipping with tracking is $20, the pop itself is on presale for $13. eBay has them for a whole lot more but being new to pop collecting is that a site worth using?

I did a Google search and I came across a forum from this site in regards to their service and shipping to the US. Nothing but positive feedback so I guess I'll do a preorder as I can save some $ on getting that batman and avoid the crazy eBay prices lol

Well popcultcha has a pre order for blackest night batman if you're still in need of one. I have family members that I know for a fact are giving me a visa gift card for Christmas so once I get that, I'm going to pre order one

BTW what area of Miami do you live by? I visited the new Target over by West Flagler Street and I believe 101 ave this past weekend to see if they had any unmasked batmans which they only had 2 in stock with horrible boxes but anyways as I was paying for one of them, the cashier was telling me their store seems to get a lot of pops and even had the chase metallic batman because he couldn't understand what made that one so special that people were buying it as well as the unmasked batman. I had to show him the normal batman that's shown on the back of unmasked bats' box and he was saying that was the metallic one he saw. Have you been to that target and do they normally sell that variant in Target?

I live closer to the Kendall area, about 5-10mins from the zoo. I mostly go to the Target on Kendall and the HT at the Falls and sometimes the one in Dolphin. Also, i work in Pembroke Pines so when i get the chance to, i'll visit some stores there.
Is that Target you're talking about by FIU? i've never been to it. my Target had only 1 Unmasked Batman awhile back which i was lucky to snatch. Never saw it again. The only Funko Pops they have are lots of Harley's and Daryl's from Walking Dead. Were there any more Chase Batman's at the target you went to? Maybe i should pass by on my way home from work tomorrow.

Yes it is close to FIU and no they didn't have any when I was there. I'm going to check today and see what they have. If I see any I'll let you know. I need one for my collection so hopefully I'll be lucky to find one there lol

Well metallic Magneto order cancelled again along with my regular Storm from my previous order which is weird since that version never sold out. :rolleyes:

Just tried my luck at another GITD Storm. We'll see if that sticks. It's like HT.com doesn't want my money. :-k

I got denied again by HT after i ordered Flocked Simba for a 2nd time on their website and got the email saying they were sorry, he's unavailable :-/

. i checked the website at 4am eastern time (when they usually update it) and ordered one at 4:15am.
That little sucker got away from me again. the first time i ordered him a couple weeks ago, like 50mins after they updated their website. the next day i got an email saying they're out of stock. i wonder how many they have at their warehouse cause they run out, than restock and within mins, they run out again

Metallic Magneto and GitD Storm have both eluded me 3x each after I ordered them from HT.com. I refuse to lose faith and will continue to fight the good fight. :brave:

I actually was a flocked Simba at my hot topic today. There was only 1 but I didn't pick it up. Isn't the Simba available on ebay lower than HT cost? Is $15 here with no sales tax

I bought 2 of the Storm GitD today. They also had the metallic Magneto as well but didn't get that one. Same as Simba above, isn't the Magneto cheaper on ebay than in HT?
