Totally agree! I think they only work because all of them are chrome. If it was next to a regular pop, it wouldn't make sense at all :-k

Finally finished my risers, now to begin the process of reorganizing, unboxing and labeling. I think right side will stay all HP, the middle will turn to Anime and the left side will hold my GOT, DW and LOTR collections. Also add some better lighting.

Yes shelves are Detolf series from IKEA. The risers I built them from plans posted in this thread from another user. I can get 25-30 on each riser depending on the size of the pops head (looking at you anime pops lol

)

Sweet! It really looks awesome!!! and yeah the Anime pops got me laughing haha. They took too much space in there lol

That's basically it.
The shadow box comes from Ikea (RIBBA). For the background, I use a sheet of paper with one sticky side so it can easily be applied on the background cardboard of the frame. And, yes, hot glue on the pocket pops. The great thing is that it does not damage the pop.

Hollow is great then if you are wanting to add better lighting, you can easily put lights inside them to brighten up the level below. They are great for hiding the lights and cables, with the exception of the top level.
