Went to the back by the new Funko section, asked the employee about them... The man told me, "they're probably in back, youll have to check back tomorrow". I explained that they were pretty high in demand and was hoping to be lucky enough to get 1 of each (batman & joker). Then the poor guy told me, "I will open these shipments when I feel like it, so go home and call back in 2 hours". So I just called back, and the same guy told me, "yeah, I got 3 total and someone just bought them all from me about 20 minutes ago". I explained that I was the one in the store earlier asking about them and the guy seemed to actually take pride in selling them from under me like that. Dang...Boohoo...
Seriously though, the guy was super rude in general.
I would totally speak to that guy's manager and send a letter to corporate. While the employee is under no obligation to hold items for customers, it doesn't give them permission to act so rudely. I probably would've talked to another associate to see if it was possible to have the shipment looked through while I waited. That has worked for me in the past when looking for other pops and tsum tsum blind bags.
