Upcoming HT Exclusives

Hey everyone, just a heads up for those who don't know about using PayPal on the Hot Topic website when you're ordering from home but plan to pick up and/or do a return in-store- we cannot give money back for items whose method of payment was PayPal. You'll have to contact customer service and have it shipped back. If you pay with your credit or debit card directly, it's no problem to return in-store. This could be better stressed during online checkout, and hopefully we will eventually not have any issues with this. Third party stuff just gets weird.

Exchanging the web order items w/ an even amount of in-store items should not be a problem, though! Just something to keep in mind and potentially save you from any grief in the future!

I'm actually not sure if we can do store credit for the PayPal orders. I dont ~think~ it will let you, but I've never been in a situation where the customer wanted store credit (they always just want a full refund, it seems! yikes!) so I could be wrong. I'll ask my boss tomorrow and report back. Even exchanges should not be an issue, I don't believe, as long as the item is in-store. We can't order in another item as your exchange item- if that makes sense.

No problem! I'm definitely the person to contact if you have any questions about promotions, policies, etc. If I don't know an answer, I'll always find out. Glad to save some trouble on both ends.

My best advice for Pop hunters is to do as much business in-store as possible. I know it may not be the most convenient for those who don't live close, but it saves a lot of time on both ends when something goes wrong.

Yeah, no returns w/o receipt, sorry.

Exchanging is possible, though. Another pop of the same price or higher. Or just anything as long as it's an in-store product of at least equal value.

HT is for sure one of the better store to do business at vs online. Their in store promotions usually trump their online ones... most stores it always seems to be the reverse

I just hate the HT price their pops at $12.50 instead of at least the usual $8.95-$10. The only times it is logical to buy at HT is whenever there are sales which is pretty much every other day

Actually it probably does glow in the dark. I had the same problem with my GIT pop. Leave it in direct light or sunlight for about 30 sec to a minute. If you have fluoroscent (or however you spell that) lights. Just leave it by the light. Then turn the lights off. You should see something glow.

Hoping to pick up Metallic Magneto and red eyes Crowley tonight at my local HT, they have them on hold for me.
I just hope it doesn't snow and ruin my plans!
Sadly can't afford the new Harley yet, but hopefully once I get my tax return in a couple weeks...

As of right now, I don't believe they are. As to when they reinstate it, I'm hoping when the hotcash bonanza is over. Which should be soon I think?

My local store told me the buy one get one 1/2 off picks up immediately after hot cash expires. Their sales I believe are nationwide opposed to region specific. - FYI

What's the deal with the different Groot pot designs? There was only one pot in the movie, white, right? If so, I don't feel the need to get all these different dancing groot pops. Also, lil' Groot is the same on all these pops, isn't he?

I found this image, which make the blue "I am Groot" pot version look like his left hand is green, whereas in the other two versions, his left hand is brown. Also, is the blue potted Groot a darker brown color?

The HT groot does look darker IRL. THe hands are greenish as well, as opposed to the regular white pot. I found 3 at HT during lunch, didn't buy any.

Regarding HT Paypal refunds...I almost always use PayPal and have had no issues with refunds. All they asked for was the credit card linked to my account, and put the refund directly on it.
