I AM IN LOVE WITH THE AD ICONS FUNDAYS ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The Honey Bee, Pillsbury Dough Boy, King Ding Dong, Noid, Capn' Crunch, and Bazooka Joe are some must haves for me. I love the Twinkie the Kid exclusive, but I am very curious/scared as the picture at Fundays had the same design and colors as the chase. Is this yet ANOTHER chase Target exclusive? If so I'm screwed. I ordered 6 Twinkies to get a chase but if the exclusive has a chase that just means more hunting and money going out.
Yes... we're still here! Hoping Fundays 2024 will be my first! :bounce:

Here's to hoping the McDonalds set that was taken off GS's preorder sheet wasn't canceled and that we'll see them eventually.

I’m sure it’s been said but Snap, Crackle and Pop. The Rice Crispies Guys. Would make a great 3 Pack as icons.

I'd love the Taco Bell dog myself, but it's pretty generic, would need a TB collar or something on it, lol

Also, how about a small Alfonso Ribeiro in his MJ outfit holding a Pepsi, which is a much better beverage than a Coke! :D

The Coca-Cola bear is supposed to come out in October.

McDonald's character is what I'm hoping for!

I'd like to see some food or drink related ones like Cheeseasaurus Rex (Kraft Mac & Cheese), Nesquick Bunny, the Kool-aid Man, Cool Spot (7-up) or Chef Boyardee.

Or what would be really awesome, the Dancing Old Man from the Six Flags commercials!

Ad Icon Pop Cereals idea

Postby DMScurvy » Tue Jul 31, 2018 10:45 am

Hear me out...
Who would like if Funko teamed up with General Mills, Kellogs, etc to make the Funko cereal boxes with the actual cereal and a mini Ad Icon Pop?
So it would be Pop! version of the boxes, mini of now hard to find Ad Icon Pops and the original cereal.

I like this idea. Not only does this bring an accessibility to collecting these but a synergy between brands. Some of the best creations in Pop culture and advertising in general have been centered around collaborations such as these. For instance Ragu sold just as many jars of pasta sauce from being the product pictured in the Alka Seltzer commercial with the older man stating "That's a spicy meatball!!!" and thus lamenting his heartburn and food choices. Plus being able to experience breakfast with Funko and have my sons actual get a toy worth having from a cereal box would be awesome!!!
