They should also make some Cookie Crisps Ad icons. Like the cookie crisp Cookie Jarvis (the wizard who was featured on the box way before). I remember he had 2 different outfits, for the vanilla and chocolate one. He had a blue outfit and a orange outfit. Theres a good chase idea. Definitely should be made.

I like the idea so far but I am not a fan of eating a big box of sugary cereal. They should do throw back boxes to healthy cereals.

Rooty the A&W Root Bear. With their 100th anniversary coming in 2019, this would be the perfect time to have this be an addition to the Ad Icons line. This one is easily setup for both a regular and flocked versions. Maybe even scented with that great smell of their syrup used to make daily that fresh root beer.

This makes much more sense than Funko trying to make cereal cause it sure tastes like cardboard. Must be made out of recycled pop boxes lol

I don’t like this idea. I like knowing that I have something that the average person can’t pick up at the grocery store.

So it would be Pop! version of the boxes, mini of now hard to find Ad Icon Pops and the original cereal.

Neat idea! This would make it such a pain to track them all down though =/

Sounds like a good idea. You'll start seeing people wait in line before grocery stores open up. This will confuse a lot of the employees. Hehe.

Eh. We in the US get acccess to so many pops that other countries can’t. I don’t mind that they are catering to people outside the US and if anything it kinda inspires you to make friends with people outside the CONUS. Make a fiend with some in fifteen counties and help each other out and everyone wins. I’m happy that they get exclusive to them and get a break from struggling to get our exclusives

I think Chester Cheetah or the one from Coca Cola.

Also, hoping they will make some of the icons for Fast Food since Jollibee from Philippines was created. Maybe McDonalds, KFC or Wendys would be great!

It's almost as obscure as Yummy Mummy and Fruit Brute, but Funko should totally make a Pop of the Cookie Crisp wolf

Ad Icons and Target

Postby MysteryFunkO » Wed Aug 15, 2018 4:09 pm

Okay so I know this has become a pretty big issue and seeing how it is affecting a lot of fans in the community, I wanted to talk about this. How many of you are still looking for the 4 Target Ad Icons (Cap'n Crunch, The Noid, Bazooka Joe, and The Golden Crisp Sugar Bear)? How many of you ask the employees if they have them in stock or if there will be any shipment soon and still get nasty responses like "We can't find them!" or "We don't have any POP!s Ok?!"?

It's definitely a case by case basis and it's unfair to blame Target as a company IMO. I had 0 issues where I live and all the local collectors I know were also able to find them with ease. I can understand where California or other big states might be a disaster, but at the same time I can see how an employee would be fed up with being bombarded by people asking every 5 seconds.

I've gone to Target where brickseek shows stock and when talking to an employee he says they won't sell until August 26th. I check brickseek the next day and the stock is gone. I'm hoping it'll be sold on their website sooner or later. That's my only chance.

I'm down to just needing Captain Crunch. The stores we went to were really frustrated because they got lots of calls for them, but the boxes were in a toy aisle redesign palette so they couldn't access them until later in the day. Once they did find them, they were sold out in about 20 minutes.
