I am totally with you on this. I really want to know what is coming, but I want all the stuff I want to be shared exclusives. That's totally reasonable, right? I just don't want any NYCC exclusives to be stuff that I really need. lol

I know most folks love some exclusives, but I'm really hoping for just one or two fairly easy to find pieces that I'll want. I'm still recovering financially from SDCC, then new Horror and POTC Dorbz, then Horror Mystery Minis, then WWE Mystery Minis... LOL.

I only buy pops so I for one am glad funko is starting so many other lines. Less for me to collect. Since I have the problem most have here I just want every pop made. So the less pops announced less money I'm going to spend. Hope there's pops, dorbz, and everything in between for everyone to love.

Yeah, everything needs to just be shared exclusives now lol

I'm kind of surprised they're doing it so late, NYCC starts October 6th, so they should only have 6, maybe 7 or 8 if they want to have one the Monday before and then one on preview day (Wednesday the 5th). I'm just glad I only like Pops and Dorbz here and there. I just hope nothing I want is limited numbered or Toy Tokyo exclusives, now that PC is out of the question...

Hey, Funko, you should let Popcultcha be able to sell only SDCC/NYCC stuff to the US and Canada and keep the normal store exclusives unavailable. O:)

There were only 4 pops I bought from SDCC. I'm hoping for a similar number this time. Just enough to make it exciting and special, but not enough to be financially troubling.

I'm hoping for something Harry Potter and Doctor Who. And I would love a flocked Grover from Sesame Street.

100% with you. I've started to buy some dorbz, but almost exclusively ones I like that just happen to be on clearence so I wouldnt say I'm really collecting them. So, while I'd love there to be pops, the more they spread out to other lines, the better for my wallet.

I'm with you guys, on the one hand I'm excited to see what the exclusives are, but on the other hand I'm concerned it's going to have a devastating impact on my bank account lol

SDCC was brutal, they really hit me where it hurt with all of the glow in the dark Pops, Pop Rides, Dorbz Ridez and other misc. must-haves (like Barbossa and flaming Walker!!) It was a perfect storm of top tier issues of all of my favorite subjects! Surely there can't be that deep of a repeat of my particular favorites for NYCC. I would love it if they concentrate on OTHER peoples' favorites this time lol

But Brian has already said there will be four Dorbz Ridez so right off the bat I need those. I'm sure it will only go downhill from there :eek:

They did the NYCC announcements late last year too, and they did them all in one week. If I remember correctly they did wave announcements every day starting on a Monday and ending on a Thursday just before the convention.

I also heard of some others that are suppose to be TT exclusive and I know people won't be happy because I know a lot of people will really want these funko items.

Not sure if this is similar but last year there was a special loot crate box that had Edith Cushing as a NYCC exclusive. I don't recall remembering that one was announced but I may be mistaken

Anyone know of POP Asia stuff being at NYCC? Would be awesome if POP Life of something came to NYCC like they did to SLCC. Need to get my hands on the Pink Chun-Li!

It was promoted as an NYCC edition Lootcrate with an exclusive Pop, but nobody really knew what the pop was until the first few people bought and posted.

I think Pop Asia did that box, not Funko. I think the only box that Funko does is the "Box of Fun" that they give out at Fundays, and that is only at SDCC. And maybe Fright Night (here's hoping :-)

Last year, Hot Topic had the patina Cthulu, Iron Throne, and Vampire Jack and Teddy NYCC exclusives

It's just like SDCC. Some of the shared exclusives have already been leaked.
