They already make tons of profit without licensing out their characters, so they really have no incentive to do so.
I don't think for businesses there is every such a thing as too much money. They do make money on figures they sell they can't make figures that look like Funko without getting sued and they would make a lot of money allowing Funko to sell their products. Do they need to do it? No but either did Disney. It's just more revenue. If they really don't want it to conflict with World of Nintendo then say no to the action figures. But the Pops and Dorbz?
