Agree with this sentiment. The first one I felt was pretty good. There were little things that didn’t fit right, but for the most part I thought it was a good movie. The most recent FF was total trash. They made Doom look like a homeless robot. A secret wars series of movies would be MIND BLOWING. I’d love to see God Emperor Doom!!
Yes I read somewhere that the Russo bros. said Doom would be the only thing that would bring them back to the MCU after Endgame, which makes me think Secret Wars would be the perfect story arc for the next Avengers series. It may be a bit before we find out which way they go, but it would be the perfect way to show the power and strength of Doom as a villain in the MCU.

Now I’m kind of glad they didn’t do an origin story on Von Doom originally. It all played out the way it did and the franchise is back in the right hands. Now I just pray that marvel dies him right and gives him the movie he deserves? All hail Dooooom!!

Totally agree with you here, Matt. As a big Iron Man / Tony Stark fan, I was holding out hope that I’d get to see Stark vs. Von Doom some day. Unfortunately for me, that won’t happen on the big screen in the MCU.
It is a shame that will never happen, but it was only because of the timing of Endgame and the Fox aquisition, so we may still see iron man in some form take on Doom, just not Tony unfortunately
Most importantly, at least him and the FF are home. I’d rather wait a few years now for a really good MCU adaptation over Fox pumping out terrible movies every few years just so they could retain the license. It’s now a very exciting time for the future of the MCU and us fans

Forget Tony vs Doom, i'm sad we'll never see Tony, Reed and Bruce in a lab together

We still have Peter. I know it’s not the same, but you could think of him as Tony’s young proxy/apprentice. Plus he was a member of the FF at one point. Still not the same but no more Tony sadly

That is amazing art right there. Who was the artist on that? Do you know?
Not sure, found it scouring the web for an image,. Found the post on comicvine.com, no mentions of the artists, though.
It’s hard to say for sure but I’d put my best guess on Jack Kirby. He was responsible for most of the epic Von Doom artistry. This looks like it’s right up his alley with how the shading is done.
You're the Von Doom expert here, I trust your opinion!

Seriously! That would've been a sight to see! Furthermore, can you imagine those three and Shuri in the same room? Imagine the possibilities!

I just read an article saying that Von Doom is basically going to have a huuuuge roll in the story arc... but not till phase 5. Sad. It’s gunna be at least a few more years it looks like.

Phase 5?! Wow, yeah that’s definitely going to be a few years off than. Hopefully the FF will be introduced at some point in 4 and it will probably lead into him being the big bad for phase 5. Our patience will be worth it though

I know Disney can and will do what they want but man the outcry and demand is going to be so strong for not only Doom but the Fantastic Four as well. Will be hard to push aside those loud voices and demands.
Love to Collect the 80s stuff. Also chasing the OG Rocky Set. First Funko Purchase was 2012 SDCC.

Holding out hope that Disney will give the fans what they've been longing for now that they have the rights for all the properties that Fox was controlling...
Disney will definitely make it better. Can’t wait to see who they’ll cast.
I feel like whoever they cast for the fantastic four will really glue it together. One thing you can't take away from marvel is they have a real knack for casting
I thought Michael B Jordan did good. I guess they had better plans for him with Black Panther instead of the Human Torch

So true, their casting is always on point!
True, but I think Charlize Theron would’ve been a better Captain Marvel.

This would be pretty awesome! I agree with the translucent Invisible woman, and glow in the dark human torch, and metallic doom. I would say make it a 6 inch thing, and mr fantastic ride pop. Oh and Silver Surfer must be in a nice silver chrome. Or Human Torch in half flame conversion, that would be pretty awesome!! Maybe in their original suits rather than the modern suits, im a sucker for the original concepts.

Re: Fantastic Four.
It would be nice if Fox let Marvel integrate the Fantastic 4 into the MCU. I guess the only way to have it make sense timeline wise would be to have the Fantastic 4s origin take place after the events of Endgame so we avoid the question where was the Fantastic Four during all of this???
This could also be a good segue into introducing Galactus as the next villain. As sad as I was that the infinity saga has come to an end I'm excited to see what Marvel has for next and I feel like the Fantastic Four would be a good opportunity to drive the next chapter of the MCU.

I think introducing the fantastic four would also refresh the franchise for a new dawn of heroes.

Re: Fantastic Four.
Based on things I've heard thus far, it's seeming more and more like phases four and five will have a lot of focus on the cosmic realms. That said, I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it leads to an introduction of the F4, Doom, Silver Surfer and Galactus. They need an all powerful villain to be a focal point now that the Infinity Saga is over.
I'd said in the past on a separate thread that we need to see Galactus done up by Funko. Now that 10" pieces are becoming more and more common, I'd love to see a 10" Galactus!

Agreed I think a 10” Galactus would be amazing. I’ve long hoped for a chrome SS and a 6” Galactus but now that 10” have become the norm, I’d prefer him that size compared to the other Marvel pops for scale.
