Thanks guys! Sorry about the teeny tiny photos, I tried posting them to a free hosting service from my phone last night and apparently for "free" you get shrunken down microscopic photo hosting! I didn't realize they were tiny until I opened this up from my desktop. I just swapped them for normal-sized pics!

Since all our old photos were lost when the board was moved to the new server, I just went back and copied all my photos that were posted as updates in this thread to my own web site and reposted them all in the first post of the thread.

It is an awesome glow color, isn't it? I hope the new Godzilla that has the glowy mouth, eyes and fins glows that color too! I have him on order but I don't think he'll be out until May.

Thanks to everyone who posted! Convinced me to get the Night King and he turned out to be an excellent glower! I'm thinking about getting the Spirit Yoda Pop since he's also made from the blue plastic.

Left to right & a glow rating: Cthulu Pop(5/10), American McGee's Alice Cheshire Cat(9/10), Night King Pop(7/10), Dorbz Oogie Boogie(3/10), Horror Mystery Mini Cthulu (5/10)

edit: I got a better shot, the Night King & Cheshire are throwing off so much light they make Cthulu & Oogie Boogie look brighter! :colors:

Thanks for bumping the thread, I was just thinking yesterday it had been a long time since we posted to it! I just bought that same glow Cthulu Pop for my gf and it was quite a disappointment. The two Stevens Universe glow Pops were also a letdown. You should definitely get the Yoda, he glows awesome and looks great under black light too!

I recently got the Vault Boy pocket pop, and it surprised me by how well it glowed. Pretty decent. I guess I don't have the popular opinion, but I like the glow on Steven Universe. He's the best red glower I've seen so far. Garnet certainly was a disappointment though. Should have been Holo-Pearl, but I digress. Love the glow Pop!, and I look forward to all the glowers that are to come!

After seeing Tres' case I had to make one for myself! I'm amazed at how great it makes my GITD collection look!

I used a UV LED strip from eBay, 1 meter of 3528/5050 link and a 12V 2A power adapter.

Now I need to go get a bigger case for my incoming 6 inch figures! (Michaels has buy 1 get 1 free on all display cases).

That looks amazing Fuzz!! Congratulations on the sweet glowers! You should get the GITD Tossakan...one of the best, giant glowers Funko has put out in the POP line IMO :-)

Haha funny you should say that, Tossakan & Kurama are on their way! I'm dying to get another case ready for them & the Titans Alien. Maybe a Glowzilla in the future...

Oh yeah, and in case anyone is looking at getting a Cute But Deadly Frosted Arthas on the right, he doesn't glow but he's mildly UV reactive.

Kurama is absolutely amazing! I can't believe I never posted the pics in this thread (I just checked back a few pages and don't see them) but my oldest daughter LOVES anime and wanted Kurama for her bday. So I got it for her and made this display case for it, lined with UV LEDs:

Usually my iPhone 6 takes really really good and crisp photos, but somehow I can't seem to get a clean shot of my GitD Pops. :-k

Any tips on how to reduce the noise?
Anyways, here's Dr. Manhattan, one of my best glowers and coolest Pops...

Speaking of glowy goodness, has anyone tested out the glow on FYE's exclusive Rowan's Ghost? I love his design so much, but I don't want to go through the trouble of paying more for him if he's just going to be "GitD Slimer 2.0", y'know?

Took a risk and bought my first custom Pop off Ebay, and WOW I'm impressed! Check out the Predator!

Next to Nights King so you can see how bright he is, looks clear in normal light.

Cool updates everyone!! The only glow Pop I've added recently is the Rowan's Ghost, I haven't taken it out of the box yet but in the box it doesn't glow very well. Looks like it's painted like Marshmallow Man, it's not molded in GITD vinyl.

I used my Blackberry phone.. The trick is to get your camera ready with flash off in a completely dark room. I just get the phone into position while holding a flashlight on the POP and as soon as i turn the flashlight off i snap the pic...usually takes a couple tries every time for me to get it just right.

I use a black-light flashlight to render the glow....seems to work better than a regular flashlight.. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't lol
