I'm looking forward to the reveals, but hope there is very little that I want. I might not have much money to spare after buying Rogue One Pops the week before. I would be disappointed if there was nothing to get, though. I'd like at least one NYCC exclusive in my collection. This will be my first year of hunting for NYCC shared exclusives. I would have bought that Iron Throne last year if I knew about it back then. Never saw one at my local HT. I didn't start checking HT on a regular basis until February.

If it's like SDCC then it could be anywhere during the morning hours to about noon their time. It just kind of fluctuates and I'm like 80% it's on Periscope. They made it sound like they would be doing more Periscopes for these announcements.

They didn't go into specifics, but I'd guess they'll do it as they did with SDCC. Periscope around noon CT followed by blog post.

For SDCC they announced two new things on the same day, the new Pop! line and a SDCC wave. I'm sure they will do the same for NYCC.

No, I'm 100% sure it will be today. The Periscope feed will come first, then the blog posting. Their Periscope feeds usually come around 1:00 my time (in 15 minutes or so). I'm standing by and will post something here as soon as it goes live :-)
