Low LE Freddy Pop Or Funko Proto Pop

LE low numbers to me is better than Prototypes. I loving having what others don't, but I hate paying for it! So low numbers is a love hate relationship.

Not that into Protos at all, but when I get one that’s of my collection I will definitely take it. It also is kind of a bummer when you get one you can’t really trade, I have a Proto graveyard at home since my luck is so bad.

Hey, hope all is well. I moved and don’t run into many of the boardies any more. Have you considered started a proto trading thread? That may help finding some new homes for ones you are less interested in.

The CEO will do just fine, mistakes happen and as long as we learn from it we will be good this year

Prototypes are cool but imo the LE piece Freddys will always remain the best

Both are great to be able to have, I like my Freddy pops even if they aren't really low numbered. I have never had a prototype though.

Genuinely curious how that site SMEYE world is able to put out 50 mystery boxes of protos and have an entire catalog of protos to sell...how is this even possible...I have two and how if they are buying them off eBay or whatever r they guarantee real?

So excited that it is back at the Hyatt, although I don't think we will get protos since it is still around the same attendance as last year, just spread out over 2 nights. If I had my choice I would want a proto over a low LE Freddy. When I have gone in the past when they had both I always got a proto where I never was lucky enough to get the low le Freddy.

I prefer a LE Freddy over getting a proto. Although I love protos, most of the protos I got from events are from lines I dont really collect or know anything about.

I kinda like the protos. Even though i don't collect them, I can usually trade them for the low LE pops I want.
Since I rarely ever get lucky enough to score a low LE pop.

I think it all depends on which one you want more. I traded my entire fright night box to a friend for their hatsune miku soda chase proto since I wanted that more.

We all know not a lot of protos were given away at fundays this year ,but I’ve noticed this thread on social Media funatics wanting to trade their nice personal protos for the Freddy glow as Anakin from Star Wars. My question is do you funatics prefer a nice Low LE count Freddy as a character from Marvel, Anime or Star Wars? Or rather have a Prototype?

Personally I Love Freddy’s more than prototypes, I am a sucker for Freddy’s as a Marvel Character.

What’s your Take?

Freddy Protos would be ideal.
But I'm curious if there will be some Franny Protos as well.

Hmm depends on the IP attached the Prototype or low edition production pieces...I'd prolly prefer a prototype over the production piece just because of the history attached...if you're choosing one over the other purely based on value I think there's no solid answer because not every prototype is super valuable and not every low count item is highly sought after...so many variables go into making your decision

In generally I prefer to have a lower LE Freddy but it all depends on the molds. I only like about half the Freddy's they come out with there is just to many. But to have a proto of the pop you love. Cant say anything beats it especially if you get lucky and win it from an event

Last year's Fundays was my first so I've never gotten a proto. My preference depends on what IP the proto or low number LE is, i.e., would rather have something I'm a fan of. Bonus points if it's GITD

Proto for me! I like uniqueness of protos and assume they’re an even lower count than LE Freddies. But if the Freddy were one of my absolute favorite characters, then I’d take that over a proto whose character I’m not familiar with.

I have both and I like both. If it’s a proto of something I collect, Spidey or Star Wars, I get excited! If it’s a low count and I can add to my collection and display I get excited. Both have their place for me!!

There's definitely low numbered Freddy's I'd want but if both were sitting in front of me and I had to choose only one I'd go proto
