that would be very cool. so would a glow in the dark Galadriel. maybe not too accurate scary face though. that face was scary.

The glow phials are underwhelming if you go in thinking the whole figure will glow. But it makes sense and is a nice minor touch. Maybe the impression the sticker leaves some hoping for more. I liken the design choice to the Star Wars Jedi pops with Lightsabers which glow. For whatever reason, they did include stickers on the LOTR pops, and don't on Star Wars. I love any glow, so I'm not complaining:)

Well, my HT got in Frodo, Sam, and the Nazgul, but they only got four of each. With all the call-and-holds, they were spoken for before they even made it to the shelves. Luckily I was one of those people, but all the same, stores really need to be getting greater numbers.

When will these be out? I keep looking because I missed out on Legolas and the first ones. I'm hoping they make another and the rest of the fellowship. I'm trying my best to limit to my favorite characters and I've done a good job so far.

They're probably already appearing in some stores, and they've been on Radar Toys for a couple of days now. I'd start checking HT first and of course BN after a couple of weeks lol

In happier news, got my Invisible Frodo in the mail Saturday and B&N actually did a decent job shipping it! The box was perfect. Is B&N turning over a new leaf??

Anyone able to confirm that only the shard glows on the Chase Frodo? I collect GITD pops but if its only the shard I won't spend the extra money since I can never find a chase in the wild.

I would say it's hard to compare since it's such a small piece compared to the whole pop. Short answer -- no, it's not as good.

Hmm maybe they thought it was self-evident? Although just off the top of my head the GITD Wolfman is also pretty self-evident and still has the sticker. If anything the Ringwraith should have it and the Sam phial should be a pleasant surprise.

Yes, this. The metallic Yondu Dorbz didn't have a glow sticker, but it was a cool surprise when people discovered his fin glows. If they're just going to include one teeny tiny glowing feature like this then forego the glow sticker and let us discover it on our own.

Scored Frodo, Chase Frodo, Samwise and Balrog yesterday! When you see Balrog, you WILL want him, he is awesome. He has a full front and back clamshell though. Very hard to see clearly in box. So he's gonna have to be an OOB display. Or maybe you could take the front clam and store it and let the rear clam hold it in box. The fire on his head and lasso are translucent. Perfect for LED lighting!!

can we put a hold on how awesome balrog is until I get one in hand lol

If I had any tech skill I would post a picture. I used a grey colored pencil. Lightly marked on the face. Then rubbed it to smudge it versus having lines in it. Did the same to the areas that were made dirty because it made it more uniform.

Just so people know, Invisible Frodo is finally showing up in BNs across the country. I don't know how many stores are getting, I just know my BN told me that about a dozen stores are now showing it as In Stock.

Saw the Gandalf in store today, looks just awful if the employee was right. I don't remember the movies but whatever smudge is supposed to be near his eye just looked like a botched eyeball. There's one between his eyes and one on his forehead and they are almost perfect circles of a blotchy grey.
