Finished watching the series earlier this week. Awesome show! I am definitely going to give the comics a read.

It was cool how you didn’t hear “the boys” referenced on screen in dialogue until the second to last episode. When Butcher asked “what about the boys!?” everything clicked, for me at least.

Honestly for anyone that is wanting to catch up on the series I would suggest the trade backs which are available on Amazon for like $20 apiece.

I saw this show advertised at SDCC. I enjoyed the series. I think there could be many cool Pops.
I'll be watching season 2 when it comes out.

Hmm, the comic is almost 1/3 porno and 2/3 action. But still has a beautifully written story line. Better than the show I dare say.

I am really tempted to read the comics now too. The one reason I may hold off is I don’t want to spend all subsequent seasons comparing the comic to the series. I may wait until the series has run its course and go back and read the comics.

It’s a bit different, they actually toned it down a bit to put it on screen. Just be prepared to be shocked.

Dude! Whenever his eyes lit up, it definitely gave me that sense of fear. Homelander is a psycho and Anthony Starr does such a great job making me hate him hahahaa...

I appreciated Brian's little blurb about power and how he said people think power corrupts, but in reality it just reveals a person's character. Just another way of him saying "with great power comes great responsibility." :P
