I remember when I preordered the 5 original avengers, I thought it was a lot at once. Would have been hard to imagine a line like Civil War. Not complaining, just thinking, more marvel, the better!

I only want one of each character and don't buy duplicates, so there should be plenty for me to pick up in this line even if I am skipping the variants.

Even though I don't like Daisy, I'll still buy two pops of her to support the AOS line.

I just wish that for SHIELD we could get more than 1 character at a time, I don't get why most other TV shows releases 3-6+ at a time, but SHIELD only gets 1

You're preaching to the choir.
I honestly don't understand it either. It makes me mad because people want an AOS line. Even if it was just
Daisy/Quake
Fitz
Simmons
Bobbi/Mockingbird
Ward
Like that's a solid first wave. Then add Lance, Mack, and Lincoln later.
It's so not fair that AOS doesn't have a line yet but other shows that don't deserve them do.

Totally agree. I have a feeling though one of the MCC Boxes this year will be a AoS theme.
But it could be a licensing thing too from Marvel.

Ya no need for Spoilers there, they are announced

But I wouldn't rely on Dorkside Toys for release dates. I know that She-Hulk is further off than the rest of them. They stated she wasn't approved yet but was close.
I hope they release Dr Strange comic this summer though before movie so they don't eat up their own sales. Personally I'll wait for MCU version this year.

I'm the same way. I won't need to buy the new War Machine, Winter Soldier, or Scarlet Witch. Debating on replacing my Mark 43 with the HT unmasked Iron Man though...

Or waiting for the Inhumans movie.

I really don't know how there hasn't been a Maria Hill from either the AoU or AoS brand yet (and most likely CW).

I think the reason why they don't make a lot of AoS pops is that because the fans are very niche. There aren't a lot of fans of the show even in the Marvel comics community. Even the average movie going consumer that watches the marvel studios movies don't know the show exists or have heard about it. I think that if they make one of the sub boxes themed as AoS would be a waste too. Don't get me wrong I like the show. I just don't think its worth it for Marvel and Funko to waste a box for agents of SHIELD. The only way I see them making one is if they include SHIELD as a whole and not just the TV show characters.

You seem to have it right, pal.
I wanted to like the show. I tried. I honestly wasted a lot of time watching it trying to like it...but I just can't. I'm not saying bad, but...it kind of is.
I appreciate what they're trying to accomplish, and what they've done, but it's at the bottom of the Marvel/DC TV adaptations list for me.
I wouldn't buy any AoS merchandise.

Yeah, the show isn't the greatest either. The DCTV shows are way more popular because DC actually lets them use characters that are popular like Flash, Green Arrow, and Supergirl. Marvel holds their TV series way back and I'm not talking about their Netflix ones. They only let AoS use the bottom of the barrel Marvel characters.

See I understood Agent Coulson being released on his own because I think a LOT of MCU fans wanted a Pop of him with the Avengers set (as well as Black Widow and Hawkeye). But I honestly don't understand why they released May on her own, they should have done her and Hill together and now with season 3 I'd like Bobbi, Quake for sure.

there are a LOT more AOS fans than you think there are out there.
Check tumblr and Twitter.
Check that post Funko made about interest in a Daisy pop, it had over 2,000 likes and retweets last time I looked. People want this stuff and I think an AOS box and more AOS pops will do just fine.
And by the way, get past episode 6 of AOS then talk to me about it not being good. Arrow had a boring start too. Just sayin'

Exactly, all of my friends collect yet none of them follow Funko on social media.
Plus there was a petition going around tumblr for a Daisy pop too.
If they can make Ugly Dolls and Duck Dynasty pops they can make at least 3 more AOS pops.

I did get past episode 6 for AoS. I'm actually an avid follower of agents of SHIELD. I'm up to date on the series and I can't wait for second half of season 3 to start. Everyone above me has brought up great points. You're exactly right, but still the show isn't that popular when compared to the millions of fans the movies have and then you do have to put in the perspective of how many of those fans do collect POPs. It's a tough sell. That's why you haven't seen that many pops for the show and that's they are probably only considering Quake as their next pop because they probably didn't sell that many May Pops. I'm not saying that they won't eventually make a set of them, but they have to sell well. Plus, they need to get Marvel's approval to make those pops too that's why there aren't many X-men ones either.

Wait wait wait, how did you get him when he's due on the first?
They had 4 on the shelf first thing this morning. Had trouble ringing it in, but he is on our MCU shelf right now.

Here in Vancouver there was a very limited amount too. The two busiest stores within an hour drive got less than 5 each and were gone before noon.

Right, I'm just taking that as a sample ratio. There are a lot of people that don't follow them, with that there will be people interested, but also even more people that won't be. I'm just speaking percentages it won't be as popular.
Another sample ratio, on PPG there is Iron Man marked at 8600 owned, then Agent May is at 1800. I'm sure Funko wants to please everyone, but it would be smart for them to please the highest percentage of people first and foremost.

You're right. Gotta pump out those 100000 different Iron Man pops.
I cant wait for the Golden Girl pops to get up to 8600 on PPG. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
ANYWAY, I'm ordering Unmasked Crossbones from Popcultha how are they with their delivery and shipping?

Iron Man vs Agent May isn't a fair comparison because he has only been in the films and she hasn't been in any films yet. A Better comparison would be Agent Coulson or Agent Carter vs Agent May. But an even better comparison would be to look at characters from Arrow and compare to May, if we're saying Coulson is the lead and May his second in command than compare her to Diggle, Canary, or Felicity, then compare Coulson to Oliver. That seems like a much more fair comparison because those characters are also TV only.
Also, I highly doubt that something like Golden Girls, Mean Girls, or Clueless will sell better than Daisy/Quake or Mockingbird would
