The good news for those that missed it is that 1500 out of the 2000 made are up on eBay. Go go go!

Not me. It showed there were 4 left but when I was checking out - they removed it from my cart and said they were sold out! I am super bummed as my son really wanted this one!

I was ready page up and constantly refreshing an hour before I got the email. Refreshed a thousand times, did the search bar, everything. There is no way I should have missed out on him.Turns out, luck wasn't on my side today. I will be forever sad over this one. I have put Funko in the doghouse for their dirty antics today and I'm not sure when I will be able to forgive them. Ok maybe if I see these so called variants come out. #RobotFreddyLove

It apparently was hidden under something else. By the time it made it to the collectibles page it was sold out

Re: Robot Freddy
It wasn't showing up for me, a friend sent me a direct link and I was able to purchase it. I didn't even know it was releasing until last night but I'm pretty glad I got one. It sucks that now they're going for $100+ on eBay =/

Soo instead of blaming Funko how about people start blaming technology? The website didn't have the link in the proper spot which sucks, but that's a technical issue!

user error, whomever posted it didn't put it in right place. I have a ecommerce site, it's easy to put something in wrong place

I always search by keyword when waiting for something to hit a site, you don't need hacker skills to search Freddy or robot.
I missed out on him, I don't blame anyone.

Maybe they will make another robot Freddy just in a different color, much like Freddy and his ride .

This is so true and quick possibly the biggest problem with these funko shop pop exclusive limited quantities. The fact that perhaps more flippers got these than actual fans is a HUGE issue. The search bar hack also didn't help us out but we are fans of this stuff and it was really jacked up today because that IS a Fantastic Sculpted funko and many of us dedicated fans missed out (i was one of those refrshing the page at the email release time)....Maybe we'll get a painted variant down the road to make up for it but this reminded me alittle bit of Zur en Arrh Returns!!lol but for real huge congrats to the REAL fanatics that were smart enough to get one and good luck to the rest of us and shelling out to flipper lowlifes.

I would love to see something like that happen. I also realize that it would be practically impossible. Once someone posts it to their IG, Reddit, FB whatever account to get hits, all bets are off.

Do the weekly exclusives usually sell for this much on eBay? Or is it this one an exception?
I see some of the more recent figures are only about $40-50

This one is an exception, the previous ones started at around $40 but then dropped. This one was a LE2000 and I think many people really like the design so flippers are gonna ask for much more.

I'm 99.99% sure there will be a color variant of this Freddy. It's too good of a sculpt for Funko to use one time.

I agree. And I'm hoping the color variant isn't limited. I just love the design... and want one for my collection. Don't really care if it's limited edition, or blue or gold or silver. I just want one because he's amazing looking. So if there is variant release... please don't make him LE.

Re: Robot Freddy
the real tragedy here is that Funko only made (approximately) $20,000 off of this release and in return got so much crap from their "fans".
Be glad i'm not President, Exclusives would be $50 a piece every week, not too expensive for Funko fans but cheap enough for us to give in and buy it.
$15 is insanely generous

You are lucky. I was on before 10:00 a.m. and refresh, refresh on and on and when it finally appeared I got 1 in my cart went to check out hit the shipping then checkout turned green than sold out. How frustrating. But it is was it is. Oh well maybe next time.

I saw some pics on Facebook of color variants. Even if they were fakes, it seems unlikely that Funko would make an entirely new mold (especially one people got so exited about) and not make any color variants.
