Turns out mine is still set on 5/1 release date. I told the guy behind the counter that he was supposedly available today, but said something like email stating to push it back.
EDIT: Got a call, turns out he made a mistake and I now own him

It looks like the new Marvel line is coming out in June! I can't wait. I'm gonna have to preorder Spider-Gwen and She-Hulk probably. And Doctor Strange.

I just wish we'd get more X-Men.

Picked up Giant-Man at lunch, he's very cool :-)

Several people have reported in the Eye on the Web thread that many stores are holding them until 05-01 for some reason, so calling ahead is a good idea. I was in the mall for lunch anyway, so just swung in GS and asked if they had gotten any in and he said "sure, right here!" and handed me one off the back counter.

When I click that link I don't see a place to check my store. What's funny is it says unavailable online but if I use the GS app, it says it's ONLY available online (so I still can't check my local store!)

Me too. How we haven't gotten a Gambit, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Iceman, etc is beyond me.

I feel like the main reason is that Disney doesn't want to make figures of characters that they can't put in their movies/TV shows. That would explain why even the comics characters we're getting this year are all Spidey or Avengers characters. Yes I know they did Deadpool but I think they did him because they know he sells (as evidenced by his movie being the highest grossing X-Men movie, on the lowest budget). But I won't hold my breath for X-Men or Fantastic 4 characters any time soon.

I still have faith we will get more X men, I don't really recall the timeline between the last xmen series and the whole Disney thing, but feel like it was released after Disney bought marvel?

Disney acquired Marvel in 2009, and I think Pops! started the next year or so? But yeah, I can see how that might work against us getting more Fox owned properties. I'll still hope for them though since the X-Men are my favorite Marvel characters.
