I wonder with the hint they gave out on Friday for a pop from nycc will be Mario. The hint said. It’s me a pop. The only person I know that says that is it’s me Mario.

I cant but help to think that Brian and friends are working as hard as they can to obtain this license. I seen a interview with him at sdcc where he flat out said that was the one he was looking for the most.

You know Funko is dying for NES. I think they could do it justice and help expand the NES brand past Mario and Zelda. It helps both companies grow. :freddy3:

I've always wondered what the hold up is. Could it be monetary? Creative control? Are they even talking? Maybe Nintendo just isn't interested.

Well if they ever got through to the NES catalog they would have damn near infinite licenses to work with because to be honest their catalog is insane.

I hope if Nintendo won't budge on granting Funko its licenses to make pops from each individual franchise that it at least allows Funko to do a "Smash Bros" Funko Line. - I'd be completely Okay with this.

Someone important needs to have a serious chat with whoever is in charge at Nintendo, and tell them to jump on the Funko train asap!
I don't want a lot, but the ones I do want I want VERY badly. Does Nintendo have twitter or instagram or facebook? If so we should band together and let them know how much we want to see their characters in Pop form!
