Marvel POP! Updates Thread 2018 (Updated July 20th)

i wonder if we'll ever get some older marvel pops in action poses because i kinda want some newer versions of Phoenix with some flames or settle for the life bringer Galactus or classic Galactus

As soon as the recent Hot Topic Maleficent released, I began to dream of a Phoenix (Dark, preferably) done in a similar fashion! I would LOVE that!

Hopefully we can get a Galactus too; Hasbro is making Fantastic Four Marvel Legends figures, so I think it's a sign that we could see Pops in the near future, since Legends figures are what preceded the X-Men Pop releases.

I'm extremely happy to see my choice of Silk make it to stage 2. I voted for her again, and this time added Jubilee and X-23 as my other two votes.

I know, but it's going to a retailer I don't have access to. Wouldn't mind another outfit that would be easily obtainable for me, by winding up in a sub box.

Thanks, she's one of my favorites; I even have an art nouveau style tattoo of her. My dream is to have her pop posed like her Bowen statue, suspended in air by her hair.

What are the chances they make a hydra cap at sdcc? Yeah i know super long shot, but it is a current story line in the comics

This would be a great SDCC exclusive! If not at SDCC, it'll be probably in an MCC box with the Secret Empire theme.

Venom is my favorite Marvel character, but I would prefer a variant that isn't in a MCC box. I would like just regular release for any variants.

That's not X-23 though...

I have a bad feeling Marvel meddled in this so a proper X-23 POP will unfortunately have to wait. Weird that she has no claws in her feet here.

Considering Logan/Wolverine got a small handful of variants before the Logan movie, and considering how popular X-23/Laura has become since the movie, I'm sure we'll see a regular ol' X-23 variant somewhere. Probably Hot Topic, or maybe even SDCC. As of right now, though, I'd be happy with simply an unmasked version of the mold we have now. I've been waiting for a Laura Pop for years!

As for the poll, I voted on Silk, X-23 (a man can continue to dream lol

), and Mysterio. Honestly, I just really want a Silk Pop. I want one so badly. Such an underrated Marvel character. [-o<

Looking at her more, I'm hoping she's going to stand. Her legs look really weird in the glams. (And I still need to get any Wolverine Pop yikes)

I submitted valkyrie (thinking original comics version) in round one and then voted for x-23 (hoping for movie version), medusa and nova in round two. looking forward to seeing what they choose for us.

Probably stand just as bad as Kitty Pryde does. Even with her base, she leans at a 45 degree angle.
