Last years Yoda Freddy is one of my favorites for sure though.

i was lucky to get yoda last year and in this year's BOF I received C3PO. i currently have them next to each other displayed.

If that Genie Freddy was indeed not ready in time for Fundays, I feel like D23 could be a possibility for a release...
(would they release a Freddy anywhere outside of a Funko event?)

Apart from giving it away possibly like they do the Social Media Freddy, D23 would make sense and it's not far away. They've released Freddys on their online shop, through other retailers, at conventions so they've become available outside of events like Fundays. However, I am not sure if in the past they've released a Freddy variant that was intended for another convention or event.

I havent read through thus thread yet but did we ever figure out how the genies were distributed? I heard rumblings of some at fundays but i didnt personally see a one

I heard a rumor that they were part of a late shipment and the only ones that went out were the ones to gemini. I personally did not see a single one at Fundays. But, not too sure.

I feel like this is going to be one of those great mysteries on the boards for awhile...! We'll keep speculating, there will be a lot of "I heard..." or "I saw...", and then we'll all move on to other threads!

And then watch them reappear next year at Fundays!

The tubes are fantastic! Probably not the most stable way for them to be shipped, unfortunately.

Mine came in in decent shape. Surfer Freddy had a little box damage but on the back of the box. I could live with it though.

My Merman came with a not insignificant dent at the bottom back. Yeah as other posters have mentioned, the tube isn't an ideal shipping container.

I'm kinda doubting it. I've seen tons of haul posts and not one Genie. Also those boxes have been arriving since Wednesday and I haven't seen any influx of listings on the major selling platforms. At this point I'm thinking they got delayed and only a few made it in to the boxes or they were mis-stickered 12/24 piece editions

honestly i dont think any of the online BoFs have genie, the initial release was gemini. curious to see if they get more or who ends up selling them. i would think if the online BoF had them, people would have posted it already since the online BoF are random. i guess we will see by the end of the week.

No genie in my box but I was very satisfied. I got a glow toxic rick, Surf's up Joker, and a non-bloody chucky. I can't complain!
