To be honest, the gold Luke is nothing special... but the 80 limited edition sticker does make it extremely nicer. I’m not a bad fan of these gold, chrome repainted pops... it’s just a “lazy milk it however way” type pops

If you're not a completists in agree. But most Funko Fanatics must have all of their line. I didn't care much for the 8bit pops, but best believe I bought my Batman 8bit lol

agree & I'm a total completists for the 3 lines I collect (and I get it about the 8bit pops..Looney Tunes is getting a Diamond Bugs, not my favorite design but will need it too...LOL)

I’m obsessed with the stickers. That limited edition of 80 is what really makes it cool! But yeah, otherwise it’s similar to all the other gold ones that came out at Walmart.

So, anyone else think that Funko came up with the Sith Jet Trooper for the ROS line and says "let's just make this the common release of the Sith Trooper Pop we debuted at SDCC"? lol

I could see it happening ... like they created them, then Disney comes back and says, we'd like these changes made? So they release the original ones they did as debuts.

On the Pop at SDCC it said pre-release. It hasn't come out yet and on the back of the boxes for EP 9 it is in the wrong place. When is this going to come out as a common?

That’s the rub - no one knows!!

That's what's causing the price to rise

That’s what I want to know! And will this still be worth the price when the common finally releases 10 years from now?

Price will probably drop but that is only if they release it. If they don't, the pop will just keep on rising. The saga is over and I feel like it should have been released already.

I see. It would be strange for it to come out at this point, as ROS is almost out of the theaters. Slight possibility it comes out at the end of the month when the DVD releases, but I doubt it. They hardly made enough variety of toys and figures for the movie. Kind of sad, as I collect a lot of Star Wars.

Star Wars Celebration is coming up. Maybe we will see another variant of the Sith Trooper then. Metallic?
