Walgreens Exclusive Star Wars POPs!

The drama is bad enough as it is with these Marvel pops, the employees actually made fun of me for wanting to buy them, thought it was funny a guy with a beard was looking for them while i could go to even Walmart and they wouldn't care if i get them. one actually told me I was lucky to buy one of the marshmallow covered Ghostbusters when I did. It's going to be a pain when these come out unfortunately.

No, not "was it added here in this topic"?, but I what I was asking was "Was the preorder for Snowbacca added later than the other 3, at Gamestop?" Asked another way: have all 4 of these pops been available for preorder at Gamestop the entire time? Because when I went to Gamestop to preorder, they only had 3.

And there's another topic that discusses these SW GS pops, I just can't find it.

Like I said, they are linked into the basic inventory so that doesn't help at all. It could say I am getting 10 and I end up with 10 Duck Dynasty's.

Just wanted to shout out Ashley for being so awesome and helping me...I found black suit spidey and venom this weekend on a whim picking up cold medicine for my wife and then today Ashley helped me track down 2 stores in my area showing 2 at each store. I struck out at the first store but the 2 at the second one were 2099 and Punisher by some stroke of luck, so my set is complete!

EDIT: I just realized I put this in the wrong thread probably just seeing Walgreens doing it from my phone. But the point still stands.

Pretty sure the specific characters/variants for this haven't been announced. They aren't the ones you can PO at GameStop.

i dont know about walgreens but GS exclusive will be hoth han solo, snow chewbacca, r2b1 and frigin d'an.. already preorder them and this is what it is written on the receipt

I *&(*& hate the Walgreens hunt. For me they are so few and far between that it's a huge waste of gas to even check more than 1 or 2. Calling doesn't do me much good either since only 1/10 employees who answer the phone even know what I'm talking about.

The worst is when they convince you they got it, put it on hold and you drive 20 minutes (40 minutes round trip) only to find out they places some random action figure on hold (TRUE STORY).

If these are legit exclusives, I am buying them on eBay. The hours spent making calls ending in frustration and wasted gas way more than the eBay markup.

Agreed. Time..and gas is big money. Was overjoyed to get the Marvel set for $80 on Ebay 3 weeks ago.

Like most people not very excited about this. People I have dealt with at Walgreens have been less than helpful. Sure plenty of people that work there are super nice but the people at Hot Topic will look things up and hold them from me in like 2 minutes. It's pulling teeth to even bother a Walgreens employee with a single question.

If I lived on the East Coast or like in NYC and probably walked by 5-15 different Duane Reades/Walgreens to/from work. I can see this not being a big deal, but for those of us who have to make calls and/or waste time/gas. Yeah Walgreens = BLEH. At least Hot Topic is pretty wide spread, people who work there know what you're asking for when you call, and the supply in general is pretty good for POPs. So even if you don't find one you want, you can surf through a bunch of others. Where as in my case, every Walgreens I've been to has AT BEST 3 POPs. So unless I needed to stock up on some soda or chips, complete waste.

I can't tell you how much unneeded Soda I've bought just to justify my random Walgreens POP trip . Yeah Hun, so I uhh...drove for 40 minutes to buy this $4 case of Soda..

Haha - Exactly! I've bought so many Arizona green teas and white Monsters this past month, it isn't even funny. Not to mention the Girl Scout cookies... I'm definitely not a fan of how this whole exclusive event went down with Walgreens.

Well I went and preordered the two I want in store earlier.
The guy I talked to said the release date on their system is April 14. No idea if that is going to change, but it is good to have something to work with!
