Something is always better than nothing. Although a lot of the stuff ended up much cheaper later on and stickers dont mean much to me.

I know about the line but personally I don't want to give up my whole day for that and not get the items I want. Luckily I have a few local friends that help me out with 1 or 2 pops. I generally with my wife, kids and rent-a-kids so I try to maximize my time. So Im trying to get into signings, and a good amount of time I hang out at the Marvel booth for their giveaways, or Lego when they use to do mini-figs.

Even though I get Mike to sign something every time I see him, I still would have been in that line last year if I had more than just one day.

I wouldn't count it on, we didnt see a Hall H panel last year at SDCC. Not sure what areas got effected by the layoffs last year, but we have not seen a Pop Talk Episode in quite some time and The Hall H panel was a live Pop! Talk event with its own give always based on the Celebs from the live event (Johnny Lawrence, Ahsoka, and Shang Chi) if you look at the past events its always been its own LE pop
Like Wondercon we got Peter Pan Freddy, Fright Night we got the Halloween booth Freddy.
I highly doubt we see it rereleased during a Hall H event (if it even happens). In the past Mike would show up to events with Protos to give to give out to fans (IE signings, Funkon, Convention Panels), with the lock down of mass protos being given out, that this will be Mikes teaser gift for the fans.

I'm going again this year, but I had to agree to skip NYCC to get the wife to be cool with it (she hates going to cons and I can't just keep burning all of my vacation days without her).

That and Funko completely pulling out of Wondercon this year but announcing they are going to be at ANOTHER ReedPop convention (C2E2). Seems like Comic Con International and Funko may be quarreling.

Damn have you tried to get your wife into cons? Why does she hate it?

She's not big into TV/Movies (and not into comics at all). Plus she doesn't care for large crowds. She did want to try it out, but the problem is that she wanted to go with me to DragonCon (on a Saturday... BIG MISTAKE) and NYCC (luckily on a Thursday). Both were more than she ever cares to do again. I tried telling her she should start smaller to get what cons can really be like if you aren't overwhelmed by the crowds. She just wanted to go to 2 of the biggest con crowds around and definitely settled on "NOPE!" Haha

I wish she enjoyed them, but as long as she is cool with me still going with my friends, I'm cool with it. Just means I can't do as many as I used to (due to the whole vacation/PTO thing).
