After seeing Transformers, Evangelion & even the Linkin Park POP cover - I’m convinced that Gundam Funko Pops would be OUTSTANDING. The Gundam franchise also seems pretty open to licenses and boy what I wouldn’t give for a sweet sweet Deathscythe Action Pose Con exclusive. Would any other funatics be interested in collecting Gundam?

I think Funko could do a great job if they made a line of mecha Pops. The 6” Eva 01 Pops are great, so I know they have it in them.

The EVA unit 01 was awesome and cant wait for more to come, fingers crossed.
Gundam would be another much needed for Mecha fans.

So many possibilities with GUNDAM, if they do release, hoping only by limited numbers. Not to flood the market.

With the detail they are getting these days on Pops I think these would work really well.

I can’t say I’d be too invested in most of the Gundam lines, but I’d buy all the Gundam Wing mechs with little hesitation.

I absolutely agree. They did a outstanding job with the entire Eva line. I would looooooove to collect the Gundam line and I feel like they could do so much. I wonder what’s the hold up with it

Idk never say never, you know illumination is behind the new Super Mario movie and funko is extremely tight with illumination it seems. (They seemed to be early supporters)

I mean I’m hoping at this point. . And I might even be reaching but if illumination has any say so, we may get some based off the movie; just gotta cross our fingers

Yeah it could potentially be a amazing statement piece so I am 100% waiting and hoping for it to be a thing. There’s this pretty iconic pose of death scythe with his wings extended infront of the moon and id love to see something like that as a pop. I just think Gundam has the right amount of detail to produce killer glows, metallics, 10 inchers, 18 inchers and more

That’s the way I felt haha but that reanimation album let me know that if they do it, it’s going to translate to pop form flawlessly

I usually don’t go for oversized pops but if I’d give my space away in a heart beat for some 18 inch Gundam pops - especially if they are metallic or even crazier GLOW IN THE DARK
