I know anime Freddy's have been brought up a lot in here but sheesh it has to happen some day. There has to be some licensing issue though because we've got 0 unless you count Avatar as an anime.

Honestly I really liked the glow Funkoween ones that I want to see a full glow freddy again. Like a normal freddy that isn't based on a character.

For sure licensing. Toei, Shonen Jump, etc get really stingy with character likeness. Hypland had to cancel rugs of Gon and Killua's head because Togashi didn't like the idea of them being "decapitated".

If it does happen, it'll probably end up being DBZ or something that has had strong licensing in the US for some time.

Anime Freddy will end me because I’m going to want most of them most likely. I really hope Funko brings these this year. Every year collectors sit on the edge of their seat hoping that this will be the year we see anime Freddy and we don’t lol

I’m sure the licensing department sees it as well when they are combing through the forums. It has to be a licensing issue at this point because some of their biggest, highest selling lines during the year are anime POP!

On a secondary note, we seen some really interesting molds this year and I would love to see Freddy as Bane using that mold that came out with the NFT set

Just incase the funko licensing team is browsing this thread in preparation for Fundays. Here’s my top 5 (aside from Anime Freddies) as of right now

1) Freddy Funko as Ghostface (Event exclusive bloody version)
2) Freddy Funko as Deadpool (Dual Katanas, new mold from Deadpool 3)
3) Freddy Funko as the Joker (Bonus points if you can somehow score Joaquin Phoenix Joker) OR Bane (using that Dark Knight NFT mold)
4) Freddy Funko as Michael Jackson (Thriller)
5) Freddy Funko as Miles Morales + Black light
