Funko has a preorder window for Doja Cat from Coachella. I dig Doja Cat so I will buy one of these for sure.

This new thing Funko is doing where they make limited runs of event or special occasion Pops is brilliant. I hope they keep doing it. So far I have ordered The Rock from Wrestlemania and now this one, but keep 'em coming!

I talked about it in a few of the threads but tbh this is alpha tier thinking. This is the type of thing I want to see more often. Rewarding the collectors that pick it up for their favorite fandoms within that limited time frame is brilliant. I hope they expand to other licenses like anime, marvel, Star Wars, etc and utilize it to celebrate events. I was saying on another thread that I’d love them to create limited preorders for the NBA for whoever wins MVP and Rookie of the Year each year.

to your point it is a good idea, ill prob be passing on this particular pop but it could be applied to other fandoms and licenses.

I'm not a fan of Doja Cat (and $30 is a little much for me) but keep doing these limited releases, Funko! Love not having to worry about it selling out right away

Hopefully they do it for more music festivals with better headliners! Coachella's lineup was pretty meh this year.

Yeah the new sticker is pretty cool. They should start making more music festival with different stickers designs and make it limited.

I would think the pre-order/limited time thing is to help them not manufacture as much. Hopefully it prevents them not having to destroy remaining stock.

I love that this lets those who really want it to get it. Now worries about it selling out. Although I will say the hate for this pop is uncalled for. Opinions are always going to be there but some of the comments have been nasty for this one. Not saying its the entire community but there is a small group that has been very loud about it.

I agree the special occasion ones are great. I feel like it is a way to preserve a memory in a fun collectible. Like the movie moments but for real life.
