I kinda like the ones without the bobble head. Less chance of a 2 year old pulling its head off .

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the only lines that bobble are Star Wars and Marvel. However, I do believe that back during the holidays Target carried some of the DC line in their gft area and they were bobbles. But, I could be wrong since I never bought any of them.
Frankly, I wish they were all or nothing. I prefer them to not bobble (my 4 year old loves Pops and I'm sure they wouldn't last long with him), but would settle for it if they were consistent.

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
I kinda wish none of them bobbled...I have so many bobbleheads, that it's sort of a welcomed change of pace. However, I think having the bobble feature is what sets them apart from the other vinyls out there. ( I could be mistaken that there are no other vinyls that bobble, I don't really collect anything besides Funko).

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
It is my understanding after chatting with some individuals at the Con that the Marvel license for Funko specifically states that all Marvel items must have springs...so hence even the Marvel POP figures have springs. However, it is also my understanding that Marvel is (or was?) very interested in the new Blox (LOVE THEM!) line...but the mandatory "spring" idea will not work with the design. I think that they are currently trying to resolve the spring issue...which I guess must also be part of the Star Wars licensing! The Disney ones DO NOT have springs and I think they are some of my faves. I love the POP figures...but think they would be better without the spring and that is coming from someone who loves Funko wobblers.

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
i think i have found out the mystery! on the box of the joker i see that it says vinyl bobble-head but on the box of flash or the riddler it says vinyl figure! i bought the joker and iron man at target so that leads me to say that if you but pops at target you have to look at the box to see if it is a bobblehead or a vinyl figure. but i am pretty sure that most or all of the pops sold at target are bobbleheads!

The DC pop at Target at Easter bobbled. Even the boxes were slightly different. Here's the bobble version next to a non-bobble.

Cool, a new Target just opened up about a half an hour from where I live (I live in the sticks so that's considered close). I went there yesterday and they had some star wars and some marvel, but I didn't notice if the boxes said bobblehead or not. I prefer my Pop!s to wobble so this is good news. Thanks for the detective work Lindsay It looks as though target won't be carrying any chases though judging from what I've seen and others have posted.

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
Wow...so we can get DC that bobbles and some that don't...very cool! Now if you are a completest...do you have to have grab both examples? I wonder if the DC characters are the only ones that have both versions? If so, are the "EASTER" DC figures the only ones that bobble!? Right now...all of the Marvel have springs and all of the Disney do not...so that is pretty clear...unless Marvel changes their POP too...when the licensing agreement changes!?!!
Shoot! Maybe I should have just stayed clear of POP...now I have a headache!

If this is for bobble or no bobble, I like the no bobble pops more than the bobble. However, because Marvel pops are all bobbleheads, I still buy the bobbles. Just wish the licensing would allow Funko to stop bobbleheads altogether.

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
Some of this has to do with licensing. The Star Wars Pops had to bobble because otherwise they were considered an action figure and Hasbro owns the license for action figures.

Marvel and Disney bobble because of licensing issues. Someone else owns the license for statues and action figures, the only way Funko can make Pops is to have them bobble as a separate licensing category.

Wow, that's crazy that the ability to bobble comes down to even licensing.
