Target pop! question
New here, I was strolling the toy isle with my son and saw the cool DC line up as well the marvel. So I started
Collecting them. I stared looking online for the missing ones to complete the set and noticed the ones I bought at target are all bobble head. Is this like a target only series?

Re: Target pop! question
IT depends upon the license. DC tend not to bobble where all of the Marvel do bobble.

I would have preffered the non bobble but guess I had no choice since all they had were them. Need to start the star war set but thank for the info. And were can I find the wobbles to keep the set the same

Re: Target pop! question
Funatic Store has Pop! Star Wars. Each Pop! line either bobbles or doesn't. There's no consumer choice between bobble and non-bobble.

From what I have seen so far it appears that all of the Marvel and Star Wars Pop!s are bobble heads. This is probably due to the fact that Hasbro has the license to make vinyl figures (Mighty Muggs) of these properties and in order for Funko to add these to the Pop! line, they had to make them bobble heads. Of course, this is just a guess on my part.
As far as the DC Pop! goes, it appears that what are currently at Target may be a special assortment just for them. The reason I say this is for one, that is the only place I have seen DC Pop! as bobble heads. Everywhere else I have bought these from (Amazon, BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth and my local comic store) has had DC Pop! as vinyl figures. Also the series picture on the back of the Target boxes is different than what is on the Funko site itself. For the DC Pop! vinyl figures series 1 consisted of Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Penguin, Riddler and Joker (a six figure line-up). But at Target the line-up on the back of the box consists of Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Joker, Superman, Green Lantern and Flash which is a seven figure line-up. Also the last three figures of the Target line-up belong to DC Pop! Series 2.

Is there a reason why marvel or Disney since they own marvel chooses the bobble ?? I like it to be honest just wonder why they went that route.

Re: Target pop! question
Marvel and Star Wars are bobble-heads because of some weird licensing stuff. But not all Marvel pops are bobble-heads. 2 that I know of that arent are Logan and Iron Man.

Re: Target pop! question
I would think because of license issues. Hasbro has Star Wars license for Action figures. So Funko has to classify their product different. Instead of action figure it would be bobble head or wobbler not action figure (JMO)

There’s some high-level necromancy going on in these parts.

All marvel and Star Wars are bobblehead due to licensing.

Re: Target pop! question
The bobble head to not bobble head haw always been weird to me. I’ve never seen any rhym or reason as to why one is a certain way.

I think the Logan non-bobble was an error. I believe I remember reading that somewhere.
