Disney Store Grand Opening

Postby ShoMeNodder » Wed Sep 28, 2011 7:36 pm

close to me is Saturday morning...too bad the pops don't have chase pieces...be hard to deal with all those kids without some kind of incentive.

Would you honestly be happy if all the Disney POP! had chase pieces? I think it is a good idea that only certain Disney POP characters have chase pieces. It makes them all the more special to hunt down. At one point it seemed that all Funko had chase pieces and (for me) it took away the "specialness" of the chase pieces. Not to mention it was really hard on the Funko budget. I like the hunting down process of special Funko "chase pieces" as much as the next collector, but I am certainly glad there are not as many as there used to be.

Less chase makes me happy, too.

In a way, since Disney is the only way to get these Disney pops, I consider them "exclusive"... and I cannot imagine how difficult it would be if there were chases thrown in the mix... Knowing how knowledgeable Disney collectors and employees are, it would be impossible to find them in the wild...

See, I'm on the other end of the scale. I think that every figure should have some sorta Chase. I don't buy every single Pop!, but I like it when the Pop! I like has a special version to track down. (Altho this 1/24 Boo Berry Glow is going to be the death of me it seems). X-)

I like how they did the SDCC Disney Pop's. Great way to have it variations w/o spending my life in a Disney store.

Either way, I'm havin' a ton of fun with these cute lil' figures. Thanks Funko!

Well we went to the grand opening today and the only Funko they had was some POPS on a column which were much to high for kiddies to see. Wasn't a total bust tho, we got some Auntie Anne's pretzels to go !

Love those Auntie Anne's pretzels. So good, yet so bad.

Was that a big angel watching over the Pop! display?

I was just at a Disney store in Charlotte today and they had lots of the Disney park pops. It's nice when it can be very hard to visit the parks themselves. :freddy3:

I would go crazy if they all had chase versions
