So cool! The framed map turned out great!

Looks great. Where did you buy the frame? Also what dimensions is the frame. Need to buy one too.

It's from Michael's! We couldn't find a frame that was the exact size as the print so we bought an 18 x 24 frame and then centered the print on white paper cut to size.

Has anyone used those risers that look like logs and come in three to four different shapes? Any thoughts on those?

Thank you! 23 foot long stretch of wall with 15+ foot high ceilings, our house just seems tailor made for showcasing collectibles. Yes we made the shelves, They are just 1X8 lumber with inexpensive brackets. We also make the step up's which are Styrofoam, cheap black material and straight pins.

Super excellent work. I'd love to see it when you finally have all those shelves full. Good idea on the step up's on using Styrofoam.

Thank you...I don't think it will ever truly get to a final stage, When one area becomes to full I just rework the shelves to alleviate the log jam. I also try and anticipate somethings (Where is my 10 inch Boo Berry Funko?) so I don't have to rework everything.

Just wanted to share some pics of mine and my son's collection. Finally was able to finish the setup that we have been trying to accomplish. Always a work in progress as we always get new things to add and make changes to the setup. Have been collecting for a long time but newer to the board about 2 years ago. I love being inspired looking at everyone's setup and collection's. So I wanted to share our's.

Holy mother of toy land. This is amazing. Few questions for you (caught my curiosity):
Is dusting and cleaning a big issue?
Thoughts on the Kenner Star Wars protectors?
What portion of the room, did you start filling with collectibles?

Not really a big issue because we dedicated one area to this. Love the Star wars protectors. We actually had this all over the house before. When we decided to redo it and put it in one area I kept thinking about how we wanted it to look when done. We did have several displays from Toysrus closing and several shelves. But was in need of alot more shelving. Once we picked the area I decided to install all of the shelving units on the wall to give it a better look. After lining the room with the shelves and all of the life size figures we figured out a combination that worked. Once all of them hung we transferred all if the old displays and shelving units to the center of the room. After done I still thought it was missing something so we added 6 more white shelves. Now that we finished we are very happy with the finished display.
