Although I appreciate the Star Wars fans and there fanatical love for movie related stuff, enough is enough. 50% of the movies were terrible, the other were good for their time. Let's get over it, stop making Star Wars stuff. I would rather see a new wave a DC, that's saying a lot coming from me.

Yea when I was collecting Mighty Muggs they did the thing where they released the same Marvel characters that they already had out just the "movie" ones which is annoying. I already have Iron man and the hulk I dont want to get the same ones just different costume. There are hundreds of other Marvel characters to pick from. Why are they releasing them with different costumes! Waste of money.

Valid point, the one avengers that seem worth buying again are Iron Man and Thor! At least Nick Fury is new! The Hulk is just silly, different pants.

I like all the redo's of the Avengers pops. Even Hulk, I'm sorry but you can only do so much with a character that is green and massive and wears nothing but shorts. I guess they could've done a Bruce Banner but how well would that sell??

We see the movie versions because what's current and in people's minds NOW is what sells. A vintage kick a** character would sell to those that care but a character from a movie something we just saw or are looking forward to seeing, might just sell to someone who had no idea what funko was, more impulse driven. Gotta make what sells, as much as Brian's loves us devoted collectors he came only make so much for us, he has a business to run.

Sorry for the rant, believe me, I feel your pain in lack of Marvel Pop!

The overwhelming merchandising for Star Wars related products is that like or not they sell. I know numerous people, myself included at some points that will buy something Star Wars related on a whim, instant buy. It's also got a broad audience young and old, which is why companies jump at producing Star Wars merchandise. That said, I think series 3 should be the last. I would prefer that the POPs stick to the original trilogy (Darth Maul being the exception because he is awesome). IMO, series 3 should include Jawa, Ewok, Admiral 'its a trap' Ackbar, Lando, Jaba the Hutt and the Emperor.

P.S, love Marvel and am still waiting on a Dr. Doom POP.

Ghost rider would be a cool pop especially with the movie right around the corner.

Let me by the minority and say I like the Star Wars ones and I can't wait to see what comes in wave 3. If I have any complaints about the line it's that I'd rather have seen each wave done for a specific movie with the main characters from it rather than having a mixture. Other than that I'm a fan of them.
