Newbie Freakout

Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around the site all week and decided to finally join. I first saw the Funko Pop! figurines at Barnes & Noble at Christmas time and my husband/kids surprised me with some Disney villains. For some reason I just love the villains and I figure if I stick with them then I can control this new habit. :razz: \\

This why I'm freaking out. The Disney Stores that I've been to only carry Pop! on clearance. They have no intention of getting series three. I even dragged my family to a couple of stores in Vegas while we were visiting. Also, where the heck is Emperor Zurg?! And is Loki discontinued or what?! Do you think that the stores aren't going to carry series three? I don't want my collecting to be over with before it really got started.

I got suggestions from Youtube that you can find Pop! at Blockbuster, but good luck with finding a Blockbuster store that is not out of business. The ones that I've called are low in selection. I found Kirinhobby.com, Ebay, Amazon, and entertainmentearth.com. I'm trying to avoid paying out $20 bucks for a figurine, but The Penguin and The Riddler are so awesome that I may have to.

Welcome, as Carol said, dont go crazy looking for a Zurg/Peter pan, no one has them yet. i might be able to help you with a couple Pop if you have a wantlist? :)

Welcome. And I think it's a good bet Loki won't be returning soon, although it'd be nice to see him return at the same time as the Avengers movie figures.

I doubt funko would re-release Marvel Thor, when Avengers Thor is just hitting shelves? That would be odd.

Yes the word around here is loki is discontinued. Series 3 will be available at other stores once the disneys exclusive ends like series 2.

Welcome. I should provide you with fair warning that saying you are only collecting villians may lead to collecting more. Case in point. Yours truly started collecting 6 weeks ago. I wa only going to collect villians. So far i have added a few chase figures as well as some of the monster's inc characters.

My daughter also collects pops and she is collecting toy story and the DC heroes but we have more pops than i thought we would have. :)

You may want to check Barnes and nobles as i found quite a few of my DC villans there.

Well, actually Lara I'm only "trying" to collect the villains but they aren't the only Pops and Bobbleheads in the house. My husband bought Darth Vader, Chewbaca, and Wolverine and Batman. I must say that Winnie the Pooh is beyond cute...

hahahaha. I'm still trying to stick only to the DC villians and toy story for my daughter, and the villians as well as monster inc for me but i can already tell you that has failed as we have a few others floating around.
DH's fav character of all time is Donald so we may pick him up and Pooh is beyond adorable so he may come home with us too.
I'm dying for Zurg to hit stores.

It was just stated on Funko's FB page that Pan and Zurg are about a month behind on being released. It seems patience will have to kick in for awhile.

I just saw the line-up for the Avengers bobble-heads, it does not include Loki anywhere. Anybody got an inside scoop on this?
