I rarely go to the mall, too much of a pain with the wife and two kids in tow. They do not wanna spend their time toy shopping. So unless I order online, I don't see many new toys in stores.

If Target carried more Funko I would be in business! Heh. I guess it is a good thing, that way I can spend money on toys and NOT have the total rang up in front of my wife. :) But man, I hate waiting for things to arrive....

I haven't been in the mall in a few months. Not sure we have one of them around here either.

Just the other day, I heard a news story about the decline of malls. So many empty stores with predictions some malls will start closing then be demolished, and be replaced by multi-use complexes. One mall I used to frequent was a thriving complex with Sears, Penny's, Lord & Taylor, many national stores on 3 levels and a food court. Stopped by there a couple months ago, and Sears and Penny's were still there, but all the other stores were gone. Many were replaced by independent Asian businesses while the rest remained empty. Only one food place was opened, and was another Asian owned enterprise. The entire wing where once was a huge Old Navy was boarded off. What a shocker.
.

I'm in northern nj and have 3 decent sized malls within 10 mins from my house. There are a few empty stores but for the most part the malls here are full of stores and people. They are closed on Sunday so Saturday is packed. Sometimes you can't get in as they won't allow people in, it's that full.

Yea I guess it varies by location. All the malls in new Jersey are packed. And when some are closed on Sundays the others are a mad house lol
