barnes and noble pop! stock updates

As most know I work for bn I checked our system today and most of the series 1 and all of series 2 isn't in stock at any warehouse so..might be slimkings on new figures for a while .

The BN closest to my house almost NEVER has any Funko. Shoot, they don't even have the display where it would go.

I hit the mother lode at a b&n I don't usually go to today. Not only did they have a ton of pop! but I got chase robin and chase riddler.

It was the one at Pembroke Commons, at Pines and 75. They had no more chase (trust me, I looked at every box), and no Loki either. They did have a couple Thor but I wasn't sure if anybody still needed him.

Arrrgh! That's exactly here I bought my Thor and my Penguin! They didn't have any chase when I went, though. Boo.

They had more Disney than the other B&Ns I've been in recently, but still not too much. All series 1 and none of the hard to find ones (Sully, Mike, etc.) I know they had Maleficent, Tink, Jiminy Cricket, Mickey Mouse, and Pinocchio, and possibly more. I'm also almost positive they had Penguin.

They have been for 6 weeks now, I still have an open order for it. Same scenario, highly doubtful it comes in.

Here is my feeling on it and I think it may be troo but I have noticed as with Pan and Zurg there is a backlog. Pan and Zurg were due in Jan and will most likely come out around Feb 6th. So that being said Jack and others due out for these stores in Feb will more than likely be late into Feb. If you notice on the sites it says Feb 2012 and gives them the whole month. If B&N can't fill an order in 30 days the clear it out so maybe we can get some Jack S by Mar 1st? [-o<

My guess is zurg and peter pan were never released so yea Feb sounds good. Jack has been out for months and just sold out and there isn't even a wave 2. Like my local comic shop, he claims he can still order Loki. Yet he tried over a month ago and all he has is a pending order. You can order it doesn't mean its arriving. Not sure why B&N would even list them.

I called my local B&N when i first was into POP to get Mike and Sulley and they told me as long as they are not on the retired list (which he could pull up) they could and as you say that does not mean they will fill the order too. My wife was more p*** that the order was cancelled than i was because she felt that if you have a pre-order than you should have a guarantee of so many to be sold rather than just taking random orders you will never fill. I was tempted yesterday to buy at least 2 from ebay but saw it was a pre-order and said nope. GL to all those trying to get Jack.

At the Barnes & Noble I "popped" in to tonight, they had series one Disney (Snow White, Mickey, Tinker Belle...and a few others), Star Wars, Simpsons, DC and Marvel.

I picked up Thor and movie Sinestro.
