Ouch. I guess that's why I appreciate being a one income family with 4 kids-we have a great return coming this week. And sadly, none will go to Funko. Gladly, it'll go towards a new vehicle though.

It's because my husband's company's HR people screwed up his information. We had the same problem last year and he went to them and they said they would fix it, but he never followed up on it. It kills me when I put in my W-2 information and the tubotax shows a green $3000 and then I put in his and it shows a red $4000!

Prob not much more than $50 from the the tax return will be spent on Funko this year. We will get a good sized return but DH lost his job at the end of Nov and the return money is being spluit between summer camp for my daughter and savings in case it takes him longer than planned to find something new.

Well, I will probably spend mine on all of the Avengers products, wobblers and pop. Then the rest will be put down on my credit card so I can get that down so I can spend more money at the Con and Fundays!

Don't know how much I will get back or owe. This is my first year being retired. This is also the first year I'll be doing my taxes myself using Turbo Tax (with free phone support - and, getting discount from Vanguard where I have several accounts). My accountant of 30 years now has a minimum fee of $750. No friggen way. Turbo tax Fed and State should be less than $100.

I'M SELF EMPLOYED, I NEVER GET ANY MONEY BACK. USUALLY OWE A COUPLE THOUSANDS PLUS THE PRESIDENT RISED SELF EMPLOYMENT TAX BY 2.5%

That's crazy, 750 to do your taxes ! I retired last summer so i have a mixed bag of stuff, surely hope to get a decent refund to bankroll a san diego trip.
