Does anybody know how Funko decides to bring out each series? I see that they came out with Maleficent and now Cinderella is coming out in series 4 instead of Sleeping Beauty. They're both blondes to me, but for the completist this can drive someone crazy.
I was focusing on the Disney villains, but somehow I bought Pooh yesterday. I already have the Wicked Witch, but my daughters want both Dorothy and the Flying Monkey. I saw that Funko had a very complete Wizard of Oz wobbler crew. Did they all come out at the same time or do you know if the wobbler collectors had to wait for the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and the Scar Crow?

Ah OK, so it doesn't require the same patience as a Pop collector.

Re: Pop! Release: rhyme or reason
I have to admit I'm a little curious myself as to how some are released. I'll echo the sentiment that I don't understand things like why we haven't gotten the rest of the Oz folks and I'll add I'm surprised at how many new licenses we've now seen and yet there's no more comic Marvel or DC Pops or anymore Simpsons. I'm not complaining (since I'm buying whatever), just wondering.

I've got one of those already! I'd take a picture, but you can't really see her....

I blame the honey!
But back to the OP. IMO, I'm sure they don't just pick characters out of random. Sometimes it's looking at trends.
So far for each and every Disney series has a Fab five member, Pixar characters, a main villain, and a Princess. So sooner or later the other popular characters are bound to show up, like Pluto, Eeyore, Chip and Dale, Ratouielle, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Jafar, Queen of Hearts, etc... it's just a matter of when.
And some people scratch their heads when they see Snowth and Mahna Mahna in the Muppets series, when Beaker and Dr. Bunson are more popular characters, but you have to keep everybody interested in a series not just the first one, so put them in the next batch with the Swedish Chef, Scooter and Sam the Eagle (hypothetically of course).
So will we see the Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Lion? I think that depends on how well the first set sold. But I think Funko is expanding to cover a huge range of taste, from old movies like Grease to NBA characters, its just cuz they just sell. I'm sure one day, if they get the license, we will see Lady Gaga and Harry Potter Pops!
In the end, Funko really hit a home run with the Pops! Now if they only make Back to the Future Pops.... or a time machine so I can go get a regular Sulley and Mike!
