LOL Carol! I really like the Star Wars movies, but I never became a big fanboy. Never got into the toys, just watched the movies. I dont think I even own the DVDs.

On that note, I will avoid these and save myself some money. But they are very awesome.

While I collect SW on the fly, I do not collect the Pop. Same with Marvel, I would rather have the Hasbro product, which is enough to keep me broke. :)

I definitely want these. Maybe someone who's going needs something from SDCC and we can hook each other up? Thanks.

I hate to add to the massive list of people who would love to have these picked up for them... but I'm going to haha. I live in AU so definitely impossible for me haha. I just finished getting all the current Star Wars Pop too! I'm pretty excited about Jabba to be honest, but Stormtrooper Luke and Han are amazing! If it's impossible I'll just have to wait and try my luck online! *fingers crossed*

I wish we had as many awesome comic cons here. Supanova is the best thing we get... it's not that great though.

If it was 44.99 for the pair, I would say that's a fair price. I sure hope these dont bring the mega scalpers out.

It will only if people buy them up at that price. I'd say 1000 pieces is more than enough to go around, but overeager buyers understandably bring out the scalpers.

Patience...must be patient lol. I am sure they will start high but with time they will come down. Like Ray said with 1000 of each these might drop pretty quickly.

From what I seen SDCC pop's rarely sell for much, and I believe these print runs are 2x normal sdcc exclusives? I hope I can get them for the $15ea

I think the difference here is that number 15 and 16 happen to be exclusive-only, right? Weren't all the other exclusives a variant of an existent piece?

no Shadow trooper #14 was an exclusive... Chewy was flocked but had a regular version too.

Emerald City Comicon POP! Exclusives

Postby FunkoNewb » Mon Mar 12, 2012 7:55 pm

Well my point was that most people don't need an exclusive to finish the series because the majority of exclusives don't have their own series number. Other than the shadow trooper that you pointed out. They can look at the box of any regular piece they buy and see which figures they need to be complete

Mike I hear what your saying, but to the same effect, Shadowtrooper is part of the series as a SDCC, and the print run was less then half or so. I can't see these selling for much. But then again I could be wrong :D

I just bought my Shadow Trooper online so my set is complete... for now! I hate being in AU and missing out on the awesome cons. Definitely want these two though and I'm hoping they show up on eBay at a reasonable price.

That is quite confusing. I have also been thinking about the best way to distribute the sets i am going to try to get for fellow funatics. Should I start a thread and make a list based on posts there? I already have about three people who already contacted me about trades for these. Any input would be great.

I'd certainly buy a set and throw in a little extra for your trouble, if you were able to get some.

I think probably the best option would be to buy as many sets as you can (or as many as you feel comfortable buying), and then have a raffle....where everyone who is interested enters, and then the people whose names you draw can purchase from you. So if you're only able to get say 5 sets, than you can randomly draw 5 names...and if anyone passes, you just draw another name.

Good question. He could start with the 3 names he has already, and then I guess have a new sign up to add more people. I kinda like the raffle idea though, make things a little more interesting!

My plan is to pick of 2 sets of these guys. If I succeed, my 2nd set would be up for grabs. I would be willing to either sell for the $30 I paid (plus shipping) or work out a trade, especially for anyone headed to SDCC this year as it looks like I will not be making the trek down south this summer. I will let you guys know after I get back from the show.
