So I am really surprised no one commented on this? Am I the only one that loves these characters?

I am not sure how well they would sell outside of the hard core collectors who want to stay complete. I was amazed hearing Brian hint that the cereal guys didn't sell well, they are my favorites.

Really, that is sad... I love them. I wonder with the popularity growing with Pop! if that will change? I know there are still a lot of people who have never heard of pop! As crazy as that sounds

doesn't surprise me that they wouldn't sell...

some properties are collector-friendly -- star wars, superheroes, horror movies -- but others just don't have that sort of appeal. i mean, really, is ANYONE such a big fan of their geico insurance that they'd want a toy gecko? same with the vlasic stork.

there's a FEW that might sell to a mass audience... the doughboy is big as decorative kitchen stuff. geoffrey the giraffe has a natural retailer lined up. the mcdonald's gang could be a cool promotion. sports mascots would definitely work.

but most people don't have that kinda brand loyalty, i wouldn't think.

I agree that Pop Ads would be a hard sell. If the cereal monsters didn't work, I'm not sure what could top that. Although a Col. Sanders Pop would be awesome.
