I'll be keeping on eye on this. In fact I added this to my watch list. Hope I don't forget LOL. I love your customizations the paint jobs just looks so fluent and smooth.

If you don't mind I have a few question concerning customizing. I plan on custom painting a Thor Avengers Pop I have that came to me with a horrible factory paint job. The black from the eyes is spotted all around the surrounding area and there is a really big black smudge that goes from the center of the face to the side that they tried to cover up with the skin color paint but the black still showed through.

The questions I have are:
What primer do you use?
Do you paint with a standard brush or airbrush?
And any tips?

I find it a little funny that my first custom will be with Thor which has a rather complicated layout then Hulk or Wolverine.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate that!! I hope you don't forget either. HaHa. The issues with paint being messed up on the Pop! sucks, that is why I usually avoid buying online. I love being able to pick mine out, then you know what you are getting.I know not everyone has that option like I do though, which makes me very thankful I do get to do that. Customizing for me is fun, and I hope it is for you.

For your questions:

1. You don't HAVE to use primer but you can go to Wal-Mart and pick up a spray primer for about 99 cents.
2. I use an air brush
3. Tips: If you are using a regular brush, I suggest you thin the paints correctly and use a GOOD brush, that way you can avoid seeing the brush strokes. I air brush so getting into more detail about that may require you talking to someone that uses a regular brush. If you get an air brush, play with it until you are comfortable and then go for it, I know you will be happy with the results. I am not sure what brands of air brush paint or paint you have access to but try out different brands and see what works for YOU. Take your time and let the paint dry, especially when masking using tape, it can peel and cause you to be really p*** off and then have to redo it. You can mask with different things depending on how much time you are willing to take. DON'T work on the custom if you are in a mood where you are not able to be patient, it usually doesn't turn out how you are hoping because it gets rushed. Last but not least, have fun with it and good luck. I can't wait to see it. If you have any more questions, let me know.
