A little story about a man named "bear"
So a couple weeks back Todd posted a GITD GL for sale, I saw this and was instantly thinking I have to get this! So I tried to ask Todd to hold it for me until I could get the money together. He said that wouldn't be fair. So I decided to try to sell some things to get the money for this and wasn't able to in a reasonable amount of time so I decided to cancel my sale and drop out thinking this piece wouldn't be mine. About an hour later I got a pm from Bear asking me why I dropped out and I told him. Bear purchased this from Todd and told me its mine for the same price, no questions asked when I get the money. A week went by and I was able to pay Bear and he sent it out. So today after working a 15 hour day I came home to a piece that for me is the absolute best!
I can't believe someone could be so kind and selfless!! I don't think I have blood related family members that would be so kind! So I just wanted to say how much I appreciate what you did for me bear and that I will ever forget what you did for me, when you couldve easily just kept this amazing piece! I don't think I ever imagined a forum would ever have so many collectors of the same things give up pieces to help others out so willingly and selflessly! This funko family is amazing!!!
THANKS AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART BEAR!!:)

A little story about a man named "bear"
This sounds incredibly familiar.... Oh right, I was 1 chase away from completing my entire DC collection, that pesky penguin chase!! One hadn't been seen on eBay in forever and they just seemed to be completely out of reach! Then all these DC chase started piping up on eBay and in one of the threads a couple people were giving me a heads up that a penguin may show up knowing I needed it! Well sure enough one showed up but I was sad to say I couldn't afford it at the time! Poof! Not even a minute later it was sold! Then I too received a PM from brother bear saying it was him who bought it and it was mine for the same price when I could afford it! I've said it before and will say it again after this, THIS is why I'm on this board and a proud member of this community! Because of members like Bear who think and act with their hearts instead of their wallets, and are looking out for their funko family! WTG Bear once again! An absolutely selfless and genuinely good hearted guy!
Have a Funko-tastic day!!

That was my first impression here too -- everyone on this board have hearts of gold, starting at the very top.
Another thread in the tapestry of kindness >> "Thanks". Thanks to you all. A pretty unique place.

Another wonderful act of kindness! Unbelievable that an online community could be so nice and helpful! I haven't really seen it anywhere else and am a proud member of the board and things like this just make me even more proud to say I'm a Funko Fanatic!

I've been collecting stuff all my life, but I've never run across a community like this one. It's filled with wonderful, generous, caring people - and Bear is a perfect example of that.
