Helping those who cant go to sdcc

I'm sure I am not the only one who is attending comic con this year, but I know some of you cant make it.
Im extending my hand to help anyone that would like me to pick stuff up for them from funko. Hopefully others can help out too.

So if youre interested, shoot me a PM or simply reply.

Seems like a lot of you will be going through Gemini. I'll be picking up some extra pieces just in case anyone needs help. Those of you who have messaged me will get priority and I'll keep my eye out .

I'm willing to help out too. I already have a couple folks confirmed and most want only the Disney pop. Pm me only please. I'm thinking these 480 runs of pop sold out at D23 in hours and we all know what that was like (not nearly the size of comic con attendance). I'm thinking they will be gone preview night or sometime the next day??

I know I'll be getting some extras to help out but its going to be hard lugging that stuff around. Unless I wait till the end and hit up the funk booth. But I'll see what I end up with and post up when I get home.

I'm planning on getting some of the Disney Pops from Gemini. Is it safe to assume that Gemini will have all of the Disney exclusives since they will be putting up the items from SDCC? Or should I not risk it?

I have 5 people I'm going to try to help. That's all I can do, you know lugging it around is difficult with the number of people there so I'm to capacity.

Gemini is going to have the exclusives at the actual cost from the first day of the Con. I don't think Steve said they were only going to have some... pretty sure he meant all.

He said they'll have Fundays stuff on Friday too.

Steve will have all of them...and from what he told me a lot of them...so I do not think it will be difficult to get these unless people are buying 20 or 30 of each.

I was asked if I can ship the items I pick up for people for free. That's a negative. Gemini will have them and free shipping for a couple days.If you still want me to get anything pm me by Tuesday.

To ask for free shipping is unbelievable, after you're doing them a favour of picking things up and lugging it around the Con, and them saving on room, airfare, food, and tickets. Doesn't make any sense to me, IMO.

Sadly, there is a sense of entitlement that comes with some members of any community.

It can be tough to stay positive when you have unrealistic people out trying to rip you off.

I commend you for offering to help out fellow funatics, when you could just as easily pick up extras to fund you next trip.

You will be going out of your way so they don't have to pay extra (or sit by the computer) - If someone were to do this for me, I'd be sending along a little bonus. It makes people willing to do it again. I had a fellow Iron Maiden fan pick up the SXSW reissues of the Vans Trooper Slip Ons...I'm indebted to that person and the few bucks a threw in were a small token of my appreciation. Hopefully people realize what a great thing you are offering!

Wow.... I mean you guys have covered all the things that could be said for that, but still... wow.

Anyhow, if Gemini is going to be offering free shipping I might try buying through them. I don't get paid until the 13th though, and my pay might not be in my account until around 10am that day. Do you guys think that may be too late to grab the Sulley and Boo pack, and the Fantasia pack? Those are the only two I'm wanting the most!

I would be extremely grateful for any help with any Marvel, Star Wars, or Sheldon exclusives. I would most definitely pay for shipping, the gas to get to the post office, and for snacks for the car ride!

Funk exclusives at the con: we do not put out all of the exclusives on any day. we usually hold some of each exclusive for each day. We make mistakes sometimes and the convention center has also been known to lose a pallet from time to time but usually we will have at least 1 case of each item for each day.

I'll try my best to help as many as I can, but like someone else pointed out it might be hard to carry them. I'll have a couple of friends with me, and will most likely be stopping at the funko and Disney booths in the evenings to prevent damage.

I just don't get it. Since Gemini Collectibles is offering SDCC booth prices and free shipping why burden a forum member with picking up items for you. Comic Con is going to be crowded and parking is going to be scarce. Please clarify this for me, because I just don't understand.

I've asked Eddie to because I can put shipping of for a week or so that way.. whereas through Gemini I'll have to pay even more for the priority at the time of the purchase. I'm not sure if I'll have enough for the shipping as well the week of the con

Also because of the time difference it could be when I'm in bed...

If I was in America I would just go through Gemini though, particularly with the free shipping. I suppose maybe because Gemini will only have so many of them and the rest will all be at the con? So if you miss Gemini's sale the only option is what's at the con.
