Funkotronics to produce animated Robo-Pops!

What do you get when you merge products from a successful toy company with electronics and tiny servo motors? The answer is Funkotronic's new Robo-Pops! line, coming this Fall.

Funkotronics will be equipping Pops! with electronics and high-tech micro motors to bring "life" to their newest toys. For nostalgia fans, think Furby with a Funko Pop! twist. Imagine Pops! that blink, wink, turn their heads, and talk!

Robo-Pops! are expected to carry a list price of $39.99 each. San Diego Comic Con attendees will get the first looks at these incredible figures.

what line of pops? all of them? that would blow my mind. but yeah, that's a high price point for me. i could probably get one or two… not sure which ones i would want! this is interesting to me.

9" Pops...consisting only of vinyl sell for $39.99 at most places.

We're to believe a 3.75" Pop, with ELECTRONICS in them, will sell for less than that?? :-k

I think we're being punked again.But it would be cool to have Iron Man with his light up chest thingy.Remember someone did a custom of one last year,I can't remember who,but it could be possible.Eddie did an Iron Man with a flip up face mask.How cool would it be to have one do that automatically? Pretty cool in my opinion.Certain characters that have light-up eyes would be pretty sweet.I'd be happy with anything with lights,because I freakin love anything that has cool lights.
