Does your FunKlub Freddy have FRECKLES?

@hienster and I were observing our POP wall and he noticed that his Freddy did not have freckles. Just curious if anyone else is like this? :albino:

Backstory, we both sent our applications in at the same time. Both received Freddy's WITH freckles, however, @hienster's package was damaged. Informed FUNKO, they were awesome and sent us a whole new kit! We didn't notice until now that the Freddy they sent the last time around did not have freckles. Perhaps its for the newer fun klub members?

obviously errors do exist we have seen them in wolverine non bobble, red dragon (got) error batman, metallic thing, Ingencorps leonangelo and your freddy.
i think hes just preaching caution to those who buy the errors as some can be faked.
I have a black eyes metallic thing ( i think dukie has one too) and that one wouldn't seem hard to replicate as well as the red dragon (got) error.

The thing with the freddy is wouldn't the acetone remove the freckles but also smudge the flesh skin color.

too many serious people. Many of us I have know each other for a long time and give each other a hard time, don't take every thing to serious. I know it took me a while to get use to that when I started.

Yeah you can clean the paint off of any pop and it looks identical to a color proto. It's really up to the buyer to determine if something is legit or not.

Fortunately error pieces really don't sell for much more than regular pieces... so it's no big loss. You can still pick up the error batman with the yellow logo fairly inexpensively... along with all red dragon Daenerys.

I'd say only the black eyed metallic Thing is really expensive (and easy to duplicate)... though there are so few of those made (and never actually released as a production piece) that I don't even consider that something needed as a completionist.

Yeah, I'd hate for him to start using bleaching cream, lifting weights, and tanning. Poor guy, he's perfect the way he is. ;-)

A handful of members have been giving me a hard time ever since I "attacked" Carol recently, so it's just getting a bit frustrating at this point. People need to let things go.

By the way, I put up like 10 pictures of my B&W Freddy on ebay (actual photos of it) so I think that should be resolved now. :razz:

Back on topic though... I'm iffy about including error pieces as pieces needed for complete sets. I guess it's all personal preference but I just wonder what other people think. Are error pieces must haves or no?

personal preference. As is everything else about collecting:

Level 1:
Collect the pieces you want

Level 2:
Level 1 + the rest of the pieces to complete those sets including variants

Level 3:
Level 2 + collect all sets

Level 4:
Level 3 + collect all protos, errors, and other un-official pieces

Nice little synopsis I thought of off the top of my head. lol

....maybe i'm on kickstarter too much... :eek:
