Marvel POP! Updates Thread 2018 (Updated July 20th)

I'm finding myself having a little bit of a hard time keeping up with news concerning Marvel Pops and Exclusives so I'm creating this thread to help organize the info that comes in through out the web, and also because finding an old thread that contained info on a figure or picture you wanted can be difficult when it gets buried. The 2nd post contains the rumors and older news that is still relevant along with a master checklist about all things Pop Marvel.

Latest Updates:

July 20, 2018 - At SDCC new Pops for the Spider-Man video game were announced. Remember this Pops are part of the Pop Games line. The new Pops are #395 Unmasked Spider-Man, #396 Mary Jane Watson, #397 Miles Morales, and #398 Mister Negative. Release date says just September, but I think we could make a safe assumption for some time near the release date of the video game.

July 18, 2018 - The SDCC 2018 Exclusives are officially out today...well at least at San Diego Comic Con. Expect the Summer Convention stickered versions to start showing up in stores as early as tomorrow.

July 3, 2018 - It has been found that there will be 10 Gold Chrome Pops coming for the Marvel Studios 10 year line. The characters are Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Loki, Gamora, Ant-Man, and Baby Groot. No word yet on numbers, release date, or if they are exclusives.

June 30, 2018 - A new wave of Pops for the line Venom has been released and they are awesome. All the character are venomized: #366 Venomized Hulk, #365 Venomized Iron Man, #364 Venomized Captain America, #367 Carnage, and #363 Venom.

June 28, 2018 - #345 Clear Ghost Wal-Mart Exclusive is available now.

June 25, 2018 - #321 Mermaid Deadpool (Metallic) Target exclusive came out overnight. Seems really hard to get right now.

June 23, 2018 - #322 Clown Deadpool is starting to slowly show up. Happy hunting.

June 22, 2018 - #341 Wasp and her chase variant have finally been released.

I'm currently looking for release dates on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier series. I have 2 different release dates. One slated for February 2014 and the other for March 31, 2014. When I find that out it will be added.

Agreed....tho I do wish she were wearing something a bit darker.....maybe, oh I don't know, like BLACK :eek:

And for some reason, the proto images aren't working for me...could just be my set-up I s'pose :dontknow:

I checked out the pics at home and at work, and they worked for me. I think they are being blocked where you are at.

Also, couldnt help but notice that his left arm must be tired from carrying his shield as he has changed hands

This thread is for Marvel Pops only hence why it's in the POP! section. If you hate bobbleheads you probably want to check out other Funko products such as there Mystery Minis or plushies as Pops in general would drive you crazy. The mystery minis do look really cool to me. Pops are usually all bobbleheads minus I think the Star Wars line and a few Disney ones. The Marvel series contains only one non bobblehead in Logan, and that's due to a factory error. The rest of the currently released Marvel Pops are all bobbleheads.

However you might want to check out http://marveltoynews.com/ and http://marvelousnews.com/ they both have lots of info for upcoming collectible Toys and Figures.

I gotta say, the only Pop lines that have bobbleheads that I've seen are Marvel and Star Wars. I collect GOT, Disney, and WOZ and none of them are bobblehead.

Being as I don't collect anything outside of Marvel I have only some knowledge of the other Pops. I know of pretty much all of them, but I don't know details. I learned something new today lol

. They really should just stick with them being one or the other.

yeah i had to re-read that a few times to understand lol

i think he got what i said mixed up. . .
pretty much 95% of the MARVEL POPS are bobbles
during the holidays they said "a new line of marvel pops would be released and no they're not bobble heads" so i was wondering if any news/info or even pics have come up
the only marvel ones that are not bobble heads are some of the movie ones and i really don't care for the movie ones
i don't bother picking up any of the marvel ones cause i cant stand the damn bobble head thing. . . especially if its a damn vinyl.
i own other pops and they are not bobble heads like the BTTF, thundercats, DC and disneys

The news I'm finding for the Marvel pops don't say if its bobble or not. I would make the assumption that they probably won't give that info as they would just say pop figure and be done with it.

The glam shots for the new movie lines Or Coulson don't show it at the right angle to see under the head. So I couldn't tell you just by looking at it if they bobbled or not.

Like I said earlier if you're looking for a non bobble Marvel pop you could always pick up Logan. Even though he came out probably for the Wolverine movie his box is labeled as the standard Marvel line.

anyway from what I understand the license for POP marvel figures are all bobbleheads. Maybe the non bobbles will be a new, separate line. I don't mind since I love bobbleheads

Sadly, it looks like the current numbering won't allow a surprise Pop from Capt America....The Falcon.

Tho I suppose they don't have to be numbers concurrently (a la Dark Knight Trilogy)....but when they all come from the same movie, it does usually happen.

I am surprised by that myself (although kind of glad because space wise my Marvel shelf is barely gonna have room for Black Widow, Spider-Man, Caulson, and Star Lord) my shelves had room for 12-13 characters each, and I'm (for now) limiting myself to MCU characters in Marvel unless they are a comicon exclusive (ECCC Phoenix), Stan Lee, or Spider-Man. Also limiting myself to 1 version of each Marvel character

I didn't notice that until you pointed that out. That's disappointing. Maybe we'll get lucky and get him later on. Gold Loki is part of the Avengers series, but his number appears out of order.

Basically we have to hope an exclusive comes out. The 3 that are separated are all exclusives so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Also if I understood this right numbers 47-52 of the Marvel line have not been announced yet. I would assume that 3 of those are coming from The Guardians of the Galaxy, but that still leaves 3 that haven't been announced.
