How long have you been collecting?

and ,not trying to turn this into a grail chat as such, what pops have you seen after you started collecting & thought "Dammit i wish i could have got my hands on that"?!

i had 1 pop until christmas & only decided at that point to start actually collecting so there are loads of pops that have been retired since i found out about them but recently i have been wishing i could get my hands on a red skull & the thing & just keep thinking "why couldn't i have found out about these earlier"!!! lol

Since December 1st. I'm up to about 40 something (I keep giving away some). I wish I would have started earlier so I could have gotten the Avengers set at their normal prices.

I got my first some time around December 2013, but there were others I saw before that. I still kick myself for passing over Headless Ned, but I couldn't let myself drop $40 at the time. Now I can't even afford the $250 he's going for.

I started collecting in October or November 2014... I'll go with October, because I'm up to 50 pops now.

I really wish I had started collecting earlier for some of the older retired Disney pops that are now going for ridiculous prices on ebay such as Winnie the Pooh, Mad Hatter, Ursula, Cruella De Vil, Belle, Genie, and Cheshire Cat. Out of those I've only bought Belle (Series 2, yellow dress) because she was the only one I was willing to pay that much for...

I got my first Pop! (Hannibal Lecter) probably in spring of last year. Got a couple more throughout the summer, but wasn't really into collecting them. I probably really started to "collect" (as in, browsing a lot and buying more than one at a time on a whim) In October/November. My collection is still really small though, because I only get the ones I really like (that aren't over $30 lol

). I think I have... 14 pops total which is very few. I'm debating adding like 4-5 more, in a shopping cart on hastings right now, considering check out. xD

The ones I wish I'd known about or gotten or wish I was willing to shell out the cash for would be Zombie Merle and the SDCC bloodied Alien figure. So mad that I apparently missed a restock of Zombie Merle at HT website.

Whenever the very first large vinyl My Little Ponies came out...late 2012/very early 2013 I believe? Picked up a few Pops not long after, got more heavily into it this year..had about 75 pops when I joined and now up to almost 175....

2012 i bought Mahna Mahna at SDCC while looking for mighty muggs (still miss them). It was a slowly curated collection, with a huge amazon wishlist. I really regret not getting the Wizard of Oz pops. I also regret not saving boxes on my original collection. With Bane, Leonidas, Cruella De Vil, Captain Hook...so many boxless retired pops...

December 25th, 2011 strictly Marvel. My wife got me almost all of Marvel series one for Christmas (only missing #02 Loki). She saw me looking at them at Target, but I always put them back down. I was surprised to see all of them come Christmas morning. I've been hooked since. Luckily I started collecting early in the Marvel line so I was able to pick up the few exclusives that existed for cheap prices off of Gemini.

And it was because of that missing Loki I found this forum. I was searching Google for it, and stumbled across this website due to people also looking for Loki. 3 years later and people are still looking for Loki lol

Summer (July, I believe) 2013 was when I pre-ordered Edward Scissorhands it wasn't until December 2013 when I receieved quite a few for xmas that I started collecting seriously, joined up here and it was all over from there! ;P I'm at 113 pops now and will most likely double that number in 2015 O_O
TL;DR - I've been collecting for just over a year.
