Someone just discovered this new Batman exclusive at their local Target! Employee said they can't sell until June 6th though. Now we just need a Bat-Mite!!

So this would be the first Target Exclusive that Funko hadn't announced, which makes me question it. Would love to know if it is actually real or not.

I am preeeeeetty sure there have been quite a few POPs that were never announced and everyone goes "whoa, where did this come from??" Even in the recent past this has happened. I believe this is legit...look what everyone said about that Lootcrate Goku and it turned out to be legit.

dynoisthename says on Instagram that he wasnt allow'd to buy it yet (as the releases is 6/6/16) so I guess that he only had a short time to take a picture of it

I had never heard of it, I googled it to see what it was all about. It looked just wacky enough to be legit lol

In deeper detail he's an alien who (for some reason) watched Bruce all his life. One day he decided his planet needed a defender just like Batman. Thus a lowly scientist became Batman!

I'm still on the fence about this one. He looks great but I'm trying to only buy what I really want.

Also for those that think it might be a doctored photo, the guy that posted this is an acquaintance and fellow collector in my area and I have no reason to doubt what he says is the truth. There's always going to be people that say something is fake. When I first got the Walgreens Star Wars pops, I had a couple of people say that I got them off of PC since there was no sticker. Let's hope that everyone who wants him will be able to get him.

So pumped for this one! The colors look awesome. My local Target currently has its POP! area under renovation, so I'm looking forward to seeing it in its finished state. Anyone have a picture of the finished area of the store?

It's from a story in the 1950s called the Batman - The Superman of Planet X. But writer Grant Morrison recently reintroduced it again in modern continuity during the Batman: RIP storyline as a darker personality that Batman can employ during a mental breakdown, a fail safe, if you will, one where he's all Batman with no Bruce Wayne persona. Batman employed this look and crazed personality when his mind was messed with by the villain Dr. Hurt and his Club of Villains. It's a great series that I recommend highly.

Can't wait for this Pop! I love Bat-variants, and this is one of my most wanted.

Oh wow, thanks so much for the further info! I think having an idea of the character helps make the POP more desirable to me lol

I just stopped by target on my way home from work and they had the new Funko section set up. They had 3 of the riser displays, shirts, mugs, mystery minis and rock candy. This is in addition to the end cap in the toy section. No Zur En Arrh out yet but they had 9 of the battle damaged crossbones. My hopes of actually finding this pop just increased tenfold

I love this variant. Its wacky and different, but I feel like it was a missed opportunity to not make the Bullseye Batman a Target exclusive. The keychain is a HT exclusive, why not Target for the full-size pop.

Looks like it is the dpci for both the Batman and SS Joker exclusives. Checked at work and then saw an instagram post that confirms it. Street Date is 6/6 like already posted.

Almost bought them both. Stupid guys says they can't sell them yet bc of the date. Messed up the system or something. So that's when he realized they were by mistake on the floor. But he hid them and is gonna get them for himself now I'm sure. So mad.
