I'm okay with this list. I vastly preferred 10 to 11, but for most younger collectors, 11 is their first Doctor. I get it the love for 11. I really do. Let's just remember though that 11 (and the show in general) would not be enjoying its current level of global success without David Tennant and Russel T. Davies doing such a brilliant job. They didn't just bring Doctor Who back to tv (along with Christopher Eccleston) they evolved Doctor Who into a modern franchise that can keep going for many years to come. Sorry, end rant. The debate between Tennant and Smith will never be resolved.

Martha would be my last place companion she had such a strong start and then she got real annoying fast when they made her have unreturned feelings for the doctor. She just became so whiney. Hey all my opinion.

I absolutely Hated Donna first go around. but as I have rewatched those episodes the storyline more than makes up for her annoying. And one of my favorite episodes is Turn Left.

I've loved both Martha and Donna from the start, although I do understand people's complaints/criticisms of them.

I would just be really sad if we got all the other NuWho companions but Martha and/or Donna was left out. I hope the line survives long enough for all of us to get the Doctors and companions that we want!

It's been awhile since we've heard from Funko about this line. I wonder if they are keeping quiet now because they are undecided if they will make more. Hopefully they do though, at least the rest of the Doctors and some of the more popular companions. If they want to end it then, I understand, but If this is the end now, I'll be pretty sad.

I think the fact that they've held Amy and Rory back is conclusive proof that there will be at least one more wave to go. A no-brainer line that will sell would be Clara, Amy, Rory, First Doctor, and another 11 Variant. Then a two pack of Amy and Rory. The Girl Who Waited and the Centurion. $$$ in the bank. I don't think we will ever get all of the Doctors though, which is what I take the "line is in danger" comments to be alluding to.

Less variants and we could have had already:

Fourth Doctor B&N Exclusive could have been First Doctor B&W
Jack Harkness Vortex Manipulator could have been Second Doctor
Eleventh carrying Cyberman Head could have been Third Doctor
Adipose GITD Hot Topic could have been Fifth Doctor
Dalec Sek could have been Sixth Doctor
Twelfth Doctor w/ Spoon could have been Seventh Doctor
Eleventh carrying Hand could have been Eighth Doctor

That would have left us with all doctors with (2) Ninth doctors, (4) Tenth, (4) Eleventh, and (3) Twelfth

Paint variants and minor retools are a cost-saving measure. I don't think you can argue that a variant supplanted an entirely new character.

I am not arguing that. I am just articulating that these figures as a whole would be preferable to those figures as a whole.

Well if you look at the last wave the small wave I believe none were just repaints. They all have some part that a is a new bold as that was hour the lead designer post about after i made a comment.

I don't think wave 4 will be as companion heavy as wave 2. Wave 2 didn't do so well, and it was almost all companions.

I'm personally hoping for a little of everything in wave 4 when it comes out -- still have quite a few Doctors left. :O

I like Clara, enough, but I do prefer Amy over all other companions.

I hope Clara coming means a whole new wave, especially if it's Clara, Amy, 1st Doctor, 2nd Doctor and either an Ood, Judoon, Auton or some other creature or alien. This gives me hope!!

To be fair, I want them all made, as many as possible, even if it's just one of each character and no variants. I love this line!
