Kubo and the Two Strings
So after Funko did a few Box Troll pops, I was thinking maybe we were gonna see pops of this movie. I'm surprised as it's just came out this week and nothing was announced. I'm guessing maybe the Box Troll pops didn't sell well? That's a shame. I just got back from this film and it was incredible. I would love pops of Kubo, Monkey and Beetle. It's never too late though. I've waited on lines for movies before and eventually they got pops. What do you guys think? Would you wanna see pops from this movie?

My little one wants to see this so bad so I'm sure we're going to go check it out.

I would gladly take a few Kubo Pop!s. I'm usually all over the animated ones.
Too soon?

I am guessing you are right that the Box Trolls didn't sell as much as they had hoped. I would happily scoop up any and all Kubo Pops.
Hello. My name is Mike and I am currently most excited about the Gravity Falls line.

I would love Kubo Pop!s! NECA did/does Coraline merchandise, Huckleberry did some awesome little figures for ParaNorman, and Funko got the Boxtrolls license, but no Kubo figures at all.
Truth is singular. Its versions are mistruths.

Re: Kubo and the Two Strings
It's a shame that Funko jumped on board with making Laika Pops based on their weakest film. If they made Coraline, ParaNorman, or even Kubo Pops, they would sell MUCH better. Box Trolls simply wasn't that good, and not at all a representation of Laika's quality.
By the way, I just saw Kubo today and it's easily one of my favorite movies of the year.

Too bad this movie doesn't come out until September 9th here. It seems like a pretty fun film. And the pops would look really cool.

I'm going today to see it! I fell in love as soon as I saw the preview a couple of months ago. It looks amazing.

Box Trolls sold very poorly....so poorly in fact that they ended up at 99 cent stores in California.

That's what I was worried about. Oh well, I won't give up hope. Hopefully we can get Kubo pops sometime in the future.

I can't wait to see this movie and would love a few POPs from this film as well
It should not be compared to the Box Trolls sales. The movie may be by the same person but it is not the same movie. That's like saying we will never get Coraline or ParaNoman POPs because of Box Trolls.
Look at some of the other movie POPs. We have plenty of POPs from filmmakers that had other horrible movies.
I doubt Funko is going to pick the worst film from a filmaker and base future sales decisions from that.

Well, hopefully they don't pass on Kubo pops because of box office reports. Apparently this movie had the lowest opening weekend for any Laika film. It's a damn shame, imo it's honestly their best work.

Re: Kubo and the Two Strings
omg this is disappointing to find out. I really want Pops of The Sisters!
I remember trying so hard to get my friends to watch this movie with me. And only one of them was actually excited. Everyone else kept going "yeah!" but never followed up with me. Too bad Kubo couldn't generate more interest

After watching Kubover again, we really need pops for this.
Not to mention pops from the little princess. I know it's not from the same company but such a good movie

Re: Kubo and the Two Strings
I really hope they make more Laika Pops! they're a great animation company, and it's such a shame few people know about their movies
This is a glam I drew of Kubo, the hair isn't quite right though....
