I picked up it and the Tyrant from Hot Topic yesterday. Neither store had any of the other Pops, and there was no sign of the Target Tyrant.

Yeah I am waiting for the Target Tyrant or else I would have gone to HT to look for the regular one.

I would have too, but in my mind I had convinced myself that the Hot Topic one was the GITD one. Put it in the dark, and nothin'. I felt stupid!

Just went into GameStop in Escondido, CA and they did not have any Hunters yet or could even find him in the system.

Tyrant will only be in two stores: Hot Topic for the regular version, Target for the GITD. Gamestop with have the Hunter exclusively and the regular Pops.

I absolutely love the fact that these POP's are based off of the game and not the films. I remember being a mid-teen when the original Resident Evil came out and it was one of the first games I got for my original PlayStation and I played the game over and over and over and tried to unlock every secret I could. I loved it.I bought it again on the original Nintendo DS sometime around 2006 and highly enjoyed the original once again. The second and third games were fun too but there is nothing that can touch the first one as far as the fun I had with the game and the memories that I've forged with it. It's truly a top 20 videogame of all-time for me. Once Funko began doing more and more gaming themed POP's I hoped deep down to someday see some based on Resident Evil and alas my prayers and have answered! I am hoping to see POP's based on Wesker and Barry sometime in the near future as well as other characters from the first and second games, hopefully this first wave will sell enough to warrant them.

Man, 2017 is going to be an expensive and painful year for me as a POP collector I swear it's going to kill me! But what a way to go..... :devil:

Got a call from GS yesterday that my Resident Evil POPs arrived. Not sure which ones as I only pre-ordered 3 of them. Stopping by today to see what I got.

**UPDATE**
I went during lunch and was able to pick up my Hunter POP! The detail in the scales is amazing!! I cannot wait for the rest of the monsters

Sweet! I used the store locator yesterday and the closest one in stock was 30 miles away, but I just checked again and now they're all around me so apparently they're hitting stores in the DFW area right now. I'm going to step out at lunch and grab one! I have all the regular issues preordered and will of course get the HT Tyrant too, but Hunter is definitely my fave of the set!

Oh that's right, I forgot there are two versions. The Target one glows, the HT one does not. I don't really need both, or do I? :eek:

Unfortunately it doesn't. I don't think the Target one is out yet, I don't see any on eBay which is usually a pretty good litmus test of availability!

Just picked up Hunter at GS, I agree with Battastic, the detail is really great on it!

They had the Merryn and her Sub Pop Ride on sale for 10 bucks so I picked one up for my GF (I already have one). I didn't realize they were running a buy-one-get-one-half-off sale so Merryn ended up costing the almost silly low price of 5 bucks!

Even the regular HT version looks awesome. I had to stop myself from buying this twice already. I think I'm gonna wait it out till hot cash goes live. I'll probably skip the hunter though just because his scale looks way off.

Gah. Really loving that Tyrant. Will only get the non-glow version. (I'm OCD about characters that aren't meant to 'glow' getting, in my opinion, pointless GITD variants. Seriously: why does he glow?!) I saw a Hunter at Gamestop, but the paint wasn't the greatest and I'm STILL not sure why that one's a six-inch but Nemesis isn't. Funko, WHY YOU DO THE THINGS YOU DO SOMETIMES?!

...Still want all of these. And a Cerberus. And a Zombie. And William Birkin. And Wesker. And Chris Redfield. And RE2 Leon. And the Merchant from RE4.

The first time I saw these, I assumed nemesis was a 6". He looks like he would be. I haven't seen them in person yet, but I'm assuming he's one of the bigger "regular sized" pops.

Waiting for Hot Cash to buy the Tyrant HT exclusive. Need to get the Target exclusive one too for sure
